Lovely host who came to meet us on the first day. Large field of grass and flowers to pitch up in, shady oak for the children to play under, quiet wild camping field for a two night taster for my 1 and 3 year old.

First time camping and beetle bank farm has definitely made it a positive experience!
Lovely open field with oak tree in the middle and a swing attached which my toddler loved!
Peaceful apart from a few cannon noises from the surrounding fields during the night.
We'll definitely be booking this campsite again, it's definitely made an impression on my 3 year old

Good size camping area, quiet apart from the train track that occasionally had a train go past. Relatively level ground.

Wish the grass was cut shorter as it was full of spiked weeds.

This is a gorgeous, gorgeous spot to sit amongst nature and be still. My friends and I had a magical time.
Geoff was very friendly and helpful, and his dog Jock is the sweetest and friendliest boy.
Toilets were super clean, road noise was minimal, the ground was soft even after such a dry week, and the buttercups set a beautiful scene to camp amongst.
It felt safe and spacious.

Wild field with nothing. Perfect for us, just what we like. Kids were safe and free to roam. Huge oak tree provided entertainment.

Peaceful location. Stunning area. Facilities are clean. Wild camping in a ‘safe’ place - it’s a great site. Geoff was friendly and available if we needed him. We had the field to ourselves on a quiet weekend away which was perfect! No problems for our short stay!

A real gem of a campsite set in a stunning rural location. The sky at night is huge and just spectacular with no light pollution: a stargazer's dream! We took our bikes out to discover what some of the nearby villages toward the coast had to offer: nothing is too far away and plenty to explore. The toilets were impressively clean and the owner sent an email with detailed instructions on how to find it and what to expect, which was greatly appreciated and got our weekend off to a relaxed start.
We cannot wait to visit again soon!

Lovely quiet campsite, the owner is really friendly and keeps the toilets nice and clean. It's a wild campsite which is exactly how we like it.
