Loved the area it was as close to wild camping as you can get
Farm surroundings were lovely people were lovely
There's no running water but it is wild camping and was prepared for that and enjoyed that fact it was wild
And had the best and cleanest portaloo I have ever used

Take plenty supplies shops in area are expensive

Beautiful scenery, nice and quiet, close to Southwold and Dunwich. Peaceful meadow with portaloos, true wild camping experience always a delightful weekend

Beautiful setting, we had the campsite to ourselves for the first night and then there was just one tent for the second night. So quiet and peaceful with a huge amount of space. Geoff was helpful - he provided free water and we purchased a dozen eggs to take home with us. The site is situated close to the Two Magpies Bakery which we purchased breakfast from on both mornings. Had a wonderful time crabbing and playing on the beach in Southwold. Thank you for having us.

Beautiful site, eggs from the chickens were delightful, appreciated the lighter touch supervision from the owner and the facilities were bare bones but clean and functional. Extremely good value for the price, would definitely come back. 700 year old oak tree and pigs a definite highlight.

Could maybe have done with a slightly larger water ration given how hot the weather was - I’d definitely advise bringing a couple of extra bottles in the heat, especially if you plan on doing washing up/washing yourself.

Location, simplicity, sunsets and the freedom to practice some bushcraft activities, plus Geoff the owner and no time restraints on leaving site.
The pub in Bramfield was lovely and walkable with care on the road.

We stayed 3 nights and by the end we missed running water, but we got by and was aware of that. The two chemical WC's took a bit of a hit the weekend we were there, as a lot of people present, too many perhaps, and maybe more maintenance is required at these times (it was emptied on Monday, but blue chem ran out way before then).

As lovely as the wild meadow was, it was difficult to judge the pitch as suitable for putting a tent up so required a reccy beforehand, fortunately we had the whole meadow to choose from so not too bad for us, but I wouldn't have wanted to turn up late with limited choice... that said some did, (a little too late really) and they managed.
Overall we had a good camp at Beetlebank Farm.

Lovely little campsite with toilets. That's all we really needed.

Great 1 night stay , loved the oak tree

Everything was great

Very beautiful, honest green field camping. Huge container of water on arrival left for us under the oak tree (no tap - which we were fully aware of). Perfectly decent portaloos. Really lovely stay.
