We enjoyed being able to have a campfire. Yes the toilets are portaloos, unless you walk 5 minutes to the car park toilets, but there are around 12 of them so you never have to wait to use one. Gas powered showers were nice and warm.

Camping field was a bog so able to park in car park which had great toilet facilities which were also quiet evening and morning. Shower also available behind toilets.
Fabulous cafe on site - Rustic Rhubarb - will review separately.
Very handy for London - I was there for the play-off final at Wembley (Notts County) - there was a train strike so had to make my way to Stanmore tube (1 hr walk / 20 min cycle / 10 min Uber). If trains are running then Elstree and Borehamwood is a bit closer.Non mi è piaciuto: Shower was just a bit warmer than cold - but I am an old woose these days and that would not have been a problem in the past. Still had a good shower but dried myself v quickly.
It was great meeting you and welcoming you into our campsite, I am happy to hear you had a good stay with us and hope you enjoyed the final at Wembley.
Sorry to hear you found the shower a bit too cold, our showers fluctuate in temperature and we try to set this so it is also not too hot for kids and try to get this right for all.
