Regarding fires, we charge for this to cover the clear up of the ash and replenishing and re-seeding the ground after the season. We also like to ensure we are aware of all fires taking place in the field so that we can ensure everyone is following our fire safety rules.

The campsite is on a hill. Check in information that got sent was too much, got given multiple postcodes to use & one of them took me down a private road to a dead end in the woods. Quite dear considering the facilities.

It was quite busy and when its’s busy you tend to be close to other campers (which is fine if you like that) but if you want some peace and space then maybe not this site.

As you mentioned out toilets are checked and cleaned many times throughout the day until the evening, once our late cleaning staff finish, over night we do reply on campers to leave these as they would like to find them.

Regarding the portaloos, we provide all campers with an option of where to pitch, either our main field with the majority of the facilities, or in the field you stayed in which not vary many people camp in which is why there are not as many toilets and showers in here compared to the main camping fields.

Regarding the extra activities onsite such as the playground, we do have all of our opening times on our website so that you can see before booking when you are able to have access to these. However, the walks such as 100 Acre wood and reservoir walk is always open.
Our toilets are newly bought and we have staff members contently checking and cleaning our toilets and showers everyday until the evening, we do reply on our campers to then leave these how they would like to find them until we then return early in the morning. We also provide a number to call if you have any problems with anything in which we can then come straight down and sort this out.
