Nice friendly and clean with good walking route to Huntingdon

Was sited next to the lane and alot of traffic all evening to the mill which was noisy.

Location was lovely. Peaceful, great walks, wildlife was lovely.

The amenities need a total renovation, showers had a step which was totally dangerous for anyone unsteady on their feet, limescale so thick I didn’t feel comfortable actually showering so just washed down instead. It’s a shame because with better updated facilities it would be a great site.
The warden is abrupt, luckily for us we never had to ask for anything but we cringed listening to the way people were spoken too. With 40+ touring experience all around Europe it’s the only site I can say I won’t be revisiting just down to the wardens harsh ways. I’m sure she’s a lovely lady but maybe in the wrong job.

Nice site. Had a warm welcome and a lovely pitch. Had a lovely stay here, nice walks from the park. I would recommend and hopefully be able to visit again.

So peaceful on the field. Watching the squirrels and cows was as busy as it got. The showers and looks were very clean and love the idea of the radio playing.

Had to leave!

Lovely site right by the river. Plenty of dogs walks and great dog friendly pub few minutes walk. Facilities good too, kitchenette, hot showers. Will definitely visit again.

Lovely site close to river with plenty of walks, also able to launch from site should you need to.Pub 2 minutes walk gives a discount certain days of week if staying at site. Have stayed before as have family in the area.

There seem to be a lot of residential/ seasonal pitches which do not spoil the site, but since our last visit have grown in number. Showers while spotless , do need some attention although the water was always hot.

Initial reception on arrival very remote and not very welcoming. Had to phone and then was sent text with barrier entry code. Having to get out of van to access barrier keypad both on entry and exit - surely automatic barrier exit would be easier for visitors. Facilities block really needs updating. Although kept very clean there was mould around shower seals, loose lining and shower head supports in shower cubicles and the disabled bathroom had poor flooring. Light in ladies toilets constantly flickering, stiff taps and useless hand dryer.
Although called the Willows it looks as if at least 8 trees had been cut down to open up the site which is a shame. The site has a lot of semi-permanent caravans as well as tourers and it felt as if there were a lot of rules in place just for the tourers. Although dogs are allowed there are no dog bins obvious for poop bag disposal. Marina was disappointing and apart from the excellent adjacent pub there was little nearby. Although site wi- fi was available the price was extortionate so we didn't use it.

Good level pitch. Great location - easy to get to and close to lovely pub with great food. Lovely riverside walk just outside the gate too. Gate is coded entry which was sent to us by text before we arrived.

We received a call from the warden as we were travelling to the site, giving us very strict instructions on how to pitch up when we arrived as there would be no one there to let us in. As we were travelling, the phone signal wasn’t great - would have been better to message or email us with instructions. We heard some stories from others on the site about how unfriendly and strict the warden was but we never saw her at all during our stay.
