We enjoyed it so much we stayed another day.

Need lighting near the bridges over to the toilets.
There is NO internet which in this day and age there should be, even if you have to pay a minimal fee for it

The toilets and showers were only cleaned once on the Thursday you arrived as still out of season, however the following day they had 2 cleans and the weekend 3 daily cleans.

Nem kedvelték: The site was like a travellers camp. Work vans, old lorries and scruffy old caravans. Pitches were small and not maintained. Main bathroom buildings were closed and the ones open when we arrived weren't clean. They seemed to have been cleaned in the morning, but the toilets were blocked and wouldn't flush properly, there was no heating, not hot water at the sinks and the hand dryers didn't work.
I am sorry you did not enjoy your 1 night stay.
We do have 3 pitches being used by contractors for a couple of months working locally to improve the Tonbridge area.
There are lorries in car park A but this is not anywhere near the campsite. Regarding scruffy old caravans,unfortunately not everyone can afford brand new ones.
We are in the process of revamping all of the hardstanding pitches which could take a while to be completed.
The showers and toilets were cleaned twice the day you arrived and only guests staying here can use them. Had we been informed of the blockages and none of the hand dryers working this would have been fixed, however no-one mentioned this to us either during your stay or after you left. There is plenty of hot water in the sinks and showers, it can take a minute for the water to come through hot.

For an all round yearly site would of thought shower block would be warm. Very noisy from circus which we didn't know about until booking in and was there all week. So really not happy with site. Found nice walk for dog in woods which expect to be muddy this time of year. Would not stay here again.
I am sorry you did not enjoy your stay at the campsite.
There are plans to improve the hardstanding making it longer and wider to avoid stepping on muddy grass. There has been a lot of rain the last few weeks making the whole of the campsite including the fields for walking through extremely muddy.
There are also plans to hopefully put heating in the shower blocks, however many guests staying in motorhomes and caravans have their own facilities.
When looking to book on Pitchup under the "Please Note " section it states "Throughout the year large events take place and the site is open to the general public".
The circus(out the front,not on the campsite)were here during the February school holidays and they had a show at 7pm the day you arrived and the following days of your stay either 2 or 3 shows 11am,2pm and 5pm.
Perhaps you would have enjoyed your stay if it had been better weather and during term time.
