I am sorry your one night stay was ruined by an altercation, which has left you with no desire to return.
We were informed just before 10pm that the police had been called out. On our way to the incident I called the police to give directions and how to enter the campsite,(fortunately they arrived within 15 minutes), I also called for an ambulance which arrived within 10 minutes. With the emergency services on site we continued with our rounds making sure there was no music playing and that campers were being respectful to other guests.
The police left at about 1135pm followed by the ambulance 5 minutes later, we then did a final check and at midnight could not hear any music playing or loud noise just campers enjoying being outside, however some laughter can be quite loud.
I approached a few drivers not adhering to the 5MPH speed limit and we now have more signs to be put out, with the hand outs given when checking-in hopefully this will be suffice for everyone's enjoyment of the campsite.

Nem kedvelték: Toilets and shower facilities don’t get cleaned enough and guests don’t respect it, so it gets dirty later in the day and people just don’t flush properly. Guests not respecting the 5mph limit and driving fast on the dirt roads or across the fields to leave site or get to the shower and toilet facilities. There were noisy guests violently attacking each other while their kids were watching it unfold and other guests having to call police to sort out the situation, however the behaviour of guests is not at the fault of the camp site. Lack of exit camp site signage so I ended up guiding people while walking to and from reception where to drive to exit site as not very obvious. Reception staff could be more welcoming to their guests, a smile is all it takes to make people feel welcome.

It is a shame you will not visit again I presume this is due to the small amount of campers who refuse to adhere to the rules of the campsite.
The toilets and showers do not get cleaned after about 730pm until the next morning therefore they can become dirty if not all guests tidy up after themselves.
As we came out to do our 10pm checks we were made aware of the incident and I immediately called the police back to give directions and the code required to enter the campsite. When the police arrived we continued with our checks to make sure there was no music or loud noise from campers.
When everyone checks in they are given a map and we point out the exit, water points and facilities, it would appear these were forgotten as you kindly directed them to the exit. We now have more 5MPH and exit signs which will hopefully be up before the weekend.

The Monday you arrived and stayed on C field,out of the 58 pitches only 3 others were being used, these were occupied by 2 adults per pitch and one pitch had a baby and a toddler. I was not aware of any ball games being played on this field.The 7 large non-electric fields with a capacity of 200 pitches where ball games can be played if not near other campers we had 7 pitches in use. The other electric field is occupied by our long stay guests who have their own facilities and the majority of them work during the day.
All of the water points are in working order, we will however check to see if any of the signs are damaged and will replace them if required.
The electric pitches are not in a regimented line as you would find on a camping and caravan club site, they do not look maintained as they are not concrete.
The bins are for recycling as well as for general waste as they get sorted by Biffa when collected.
We are still waiting for the storage containers to be collected by the company they have been rented from.

I just wish there were toilet facilities closer to the far end fields, as it’s a bit of a walk otherwise (or toilet trips need to be arranged during the day). The main facilities were clean and well looked after.
Unfortunately, we did encounter very disruptive neighbours who kept our group awake throughout the night and at times were quite intimidating. However, management dealt with the situation very swiftly the next morning and were extremely apologetic, even though it was not their fault. We really appreciated their professionalism and care.
