From the moment we arrived on the site it felt so calm and relaxed . Being an adult only camp site meant no screaming kids and just relaxed atmosphere and well organised pitches. The couple running the site were so friendly and honestly couldn't have felt more welcomed. The pitches are so well set out and maintained with each having its own fire pit table top style setup to avoid the grass being damaged . Bins located around the fields for regular clearance. Beautiful views , sunset and the lovely equine neighbours to watch as it sets was a beautiful touch .

The none electric pitches are slightly further than the glazing pods and electric pitches , meaning no close proximity toilet facilities of an evening so ensure you have your torch incase you need to wander as the fields undulate quite a bit under foot .

The site itself was wonderful we loved the tranquility of the place, the common room and the access to the lake and then the canal. It was so serine with Rabbits and squirrels running free and coots just feeling so comfortable with humans

Beautiful camp site, with plenty of walking areas on your door step or more to do with a short drive. David and Ingrid were lovely, so welcoming. Each pitch is great size with plenty of room. Lots of nature around, the ponds around the site were pretty. Will be back!! Wouldn't let me upload all my piks, but book in to see it yourself, you wont be disapointed!!

Pretty location and great facilities. Very basic and wifi is only in the club house bit so you have the option

The driveways could do a bit of leveling out as we have a low van that was at risk of scraping the bottom

This is a very well maintained site, the owners work very hard to keep the facilities clean and nicely presented.

Although we didn't need to make use of it there is a sheltered area with heaters, tv, fridge, freezer and plenty of seating for guests. It looked rustic and cozy, and there was free WiFi is available.

The garden and pond area is very pretty. The fields where tents are pitched was freshly mown during my stay with pockets of long grass and wild flowers. We enjoyed watching the local wildlife, although I'd recommend taking some insect repellent as we were feasted on!

Everything!! The area traveling into the campsite was beautiful. The moment we entered the site we felt instantly relaxed....just what we needed after a busy week at work. We were greeted by Dave on his red bike and taken to the main house were he gave us a map of the surrounding area, good walks to go on and the best restaurants/pubs to go to. We loved the way the camping pitches where cut into longer grass making designated pitches for each camper. The pitches where a very good size. Enough for our car, a 3man tent and a decent size kitchen/utility tent.
The site is a really peaceful, adults only site. The little pond by the main house was tranquil, we could of sat for hours looking at the wildlife.
The shared social area was an excellent feature. It was like a little cottage with couches and solid wood long tables and fresh eggs for sale. It has a shared fridge freezer, sink, microwave, kettle etc The toilets and showers were spotless. I particularly liked the cubicle with plugs for ladies styling products and a little basket with things you may have forgotten like shower gel 👌We will 100% be coming back here. 10/10.

Choice of pitch’s , communal area, beautiful grounds with a scenic small pond and baby ducks and rabbits , very well maintained. Nice woodland walk just out of the site. Friendly owner who showed us to our pitch.

The whole area was lovely great indoor area for when weather not so good with all facilities you may need fridge kettle microwave tv, owners were lovley and hrlpf
