The site is very peaceful and the owners have added lots of thoughtful touches. It's an amazing place....I didn't even care that I couldn't get a mobile signal

This place is a definite must stay. The hosts ,Ingrid and Dave are so friendly and hard working. The toilet facilities are kept spotless by the energetic and hardworking Ingrid . Dave comes around doing recycling , dropping off firepits and keeps the bins empty. As for the camp itself, great sized pitches , level ground for tents and separated by a few bushes from other campers. Bring a torch as the the camp is extremely dark. We will definitely be coming here again, everyone is so friendly, we had to leave early so never got to say bye to Em, but hopefully we will run into each other soon.

Nothing to dislike , it's perfect

Everything was ready spotlessly clean and more than expected. Fridge in accommodation was perfect. Being close to the lake/canal was lovely for walks into ellesmere.
The communal kitchen area was a lovely way to meet people and share different ideas.
The toilets and showers were always clean and fresh towel always available to dry hands.

Dave and Ingrid were lovely hosts , Informative , welcoming and exceptionally helpful to campervan newbies.
We were situated next to the owners house opposite the pond with beautiful wildlife in abundance .The communal area was comfortable, clean and is a great addition to the site .
The walk to Ellemere was stunning along the canal, with lunch at The Red Lion followed by a drink in The Vaults ....a really interesting and quirky pub .
The site was quiet

Trying to get a taxi back to site from Ellesmere was impossible .
It's not a complaint but an extra toilet or two in the shower block wouldn't go amiss as it got really busy . In truth it's not a problem as long as you're prepared to wait sometimes .
WiFi was tricky to pick up sometimes

Loved it here. Absolutely LOVED it and can’t wait to go back. I’m sure there’s beautiful walks nearby… I literally sat down and didn’t move hardly for 2 days 🤣. Beautiful views, wonderful owners, facilities clean and warm…. Fab communal area. Will definitely be back next month! X
