A vállalkozására vonatkozó információk megadásaWhat a smashing waterpark is at Camping Riez À La Vie in the Vendée, at the seaside town of Saint-Hilaire-de-Riez. For here you'll have heated indoor and outdoor pools to splash in, giant slides to speed down and all manner of aquatic activities such as water aerobics, water polo and nightly swims. And for when you might want to submerge self for an unwinding session, a Jacuzzi is on site too.
More watery antics are easily had near this big and family-friendly site, as the nearest golden sandy beach is less than a kilometre away and part of Saint-Hilaire-de-Riez, the commune with famed and popular coastline covering long kilometres of golden sands.
Just to the south is the busy port and lively town of Saint-Gilles-Croix-de-Vie, with another long wide stretch of sand to wander. (Have a sandily happy time trying to distinguish between the two, for the beaches at both merge into one gorgeously golden stretch.)
Riez À La Vie is also within easy day trip distance of a few big and famed theme parks (La Pège, Futuroscope and the mighty Puy de Fou), as well as other Vendée highlights like the islands of Yeu and Noirmoutier. Tickets for Puy de Fou and the Ile d'Yeu can be bought at reception.
Among the many other modern and comfy facilities on site are a snack bar, takeaway service, sports area, fitness room and a games room with ping pong, video games and pool table. Wifi, bike rental and a laundry room are available for an extra charge.
Riez À La Vie also runs sports activities every weekend and regularly in the high season, including walks and aqua gym.

From Paris: first take the A10 towards Nantes, then the A11 for Bordeaux-Nantes. Join the A83 and take Exit 1 signposted La Roche sur Yon D178. Continue on the D117 and take the exit signposted Marchecoul. Continue towards Roche sur Yon/St Jean de Monts and take the right turn when indicated Chemin des Quatre Barres. Turn left onto Rue des Martinets and then right onto Rue de la Parée Préneau where you will find the campsite.
From Nantes: take the A83 towards Bordeaux/La Roche sur Yon and then follow the directions to Noirmoutier/St Jean de Monts on the D205. Go through Challans and continue towards St Jean de Monts. Take the right turn when indicated Chemin des Quatre Barres. Turn left onto Rue des Martinets and then right onto Rue de la Parée Préneau where you will find the campsite.

Take your pick from theme parks, forest hikes, watersports and more around this part of France, all among the mild climate of the Vendée.
The many golden sandy beaches of the Atlantic coast in this area cover about 250 kilometres of fine sand, many stretches of which are popular for watersports including scuba diving and surfing. Sand yachting, kitesurfing, sea fishing, sailing and boat trips can all be organised about a kilometre from the site.
Have a wander around Saint-Gilles-Croix-de-Vie, starting from the beach reachable from Saint-Hilaire-de-Riez, around the dunes to the port, and then up to the town and its many cafés, restaurants and central jazz bar. From Saint-Gilles it's about 40 minutes' drive to Les Sables d'Olonne and about an hour to Nantes.
Other options are the seaside resort and eight kilometres of beach at Saint Jean de Monts (12 kilometres); the megaliths in Brétignolles sur Mer (20 kilometres) and tackling part of the vast cycle network of the Sentiers Cyclables de la Vendée, running for 500 or so kilometres from Noirmoutier in the north down south past Saint-Gilles.
