This is like our 5th stay here in 18 months absolutely love this place ... Friendly staff beautiful site beautiful views close to some lovely places ie Bude, Boscastle, Tintagel .. widemouth it's self is stunning. And a close walk to black rock. The food is amazing had a pizza takeaway and it was yummy 5* food.

Loved the pool, the view from the top of the mallards pitches was beautiful especially when the sun was setting, the staff was lovely and it was nice to have entertainment even in March as some sites alot isn't open, overall great stay ❤️

Maybe abit more entertainment or games for the 6+ kids that think there 13 as the entertainment was for toddlers

Location by open fields. Good size pitch. Clean toilets and showers, hot water.

Nothing to dislike

Good morning all
Just had our first trip of the year and it was lovely
Stayed at John Fowler holiday park in wide mouth near Bude
The pitches are a good size but all slightly sloping so you do need ramps
The shower and toilet blocks are brand new and are fantastic
The clubhouse is nice with entertainment on the night and a good bar and excellent food
There is a lovely swimming pool, arcade and a play area for the kids
The is a pub/restaurant at the top of the hill about 10min walk and the beach is about 20min walk
There is a bus stop at the top of the hill The bus runs every hour and goes to Bude and Boscastle
And best of all we got are Cornwall sticker on the map
Me and Dawn Lynes would give it a 9/10

Had an amazing time, staff were very friendly and helpful. Facilities were clean. Excellent place for children lots to do. Would definitely be going back, one of my favourite places.

The only thing I would say as a negative is we had a hard standing pitch, however we had to walk/drive over the grass to get onto it and was very muddy. Could do with just extending the gravel slightly so you do not have to go over the grass at all.

Lovely views from the campsite, nice warm pool and great bar/food

The pheasant field was extremely muddy and our pitch was waterlogged all week, the gravel didn’t go all the way to the road so we was constantly getting the car stuck and struggled to get the caravan over the grass. There was also no lights at all ( from one on the toilet block) we felt very unsafe walking to and from the toilet block which was quite a distance away . There could be a water tap a bit closer as that was also in the next field. It would be ideal if there was showers at the pool as we had to walk all the way back to the top field to have a shower.

Clay soil makes camping challenging in wet weather as water does not drain quickly...it gets very muddy indeed
