We loved our stay here! Friendly welcome, beautiful peaceful pitch next to a stream. Good facilities, hot showers. Nice pub 2 minute walk away :-)

Nothing for us to dislike

Everything was amazing for us as we loved the peace and quiet with the sound of the river behind our caravan the 2 dogs loved it
Andy the site manager was exceptional he could have not been more helpful well done .
We went out every day in the car as we struggle to walk far the views from the mountains and valleys was absolutely stunning a trip to Coniston lake fir lunch by the lake in the Bluebird Cafe then on tour lake Windermere across on the ferry had a great day out. The Bridge inn just over the road food was excellent so no cooking well a little bit

Nothing to dislike

Friendly and relaxed atmosphere, clean facilities, very nice area. Lovely pub located near by serving delicious and reasonably priced food. Also excellent WiFi ! Friendly site manager.

Nothing to do with site but wish people would keep their dogs on leads on sites as required !!!!!!!!

The site was in a lovely location, it looked tired and sad in places and the facilities were basic. The warden, Andy, was helpful and friendly. The mirror in the hedge across the road was overgrown and so safe access and exits could be an issue on such a narrow lane where people drove rather fast. The showers and toilets let the site down and there were only two in each block for each sex plus a disabled loo. Also the toilets weee soiled where people seemed unable to clean up after themselves, so I cleaned and brushed the toilets as necessary but more vigilance and signage would be a help. ( not the sites fault that dirty lazy people use their facilities). Also dog wash facility was a hose but had no connector! The river was an excellent substitute. There was no o sitter club house as tucked in the blurb but a pub right next door across the river which was excellent. I am unlikely to visit the site again.

Ladies toilets were not clean after people did not clean up after using the toilet. Limited showers and toilets.

Lovely spot next to the R.Irt, a nice respectful quiet site with a gentleman for a site warden. Can't thank Andy enough for helping us out with few 'forgotten items'!! Highly recommended for camping/caravans in a great location. Warm showers and tidy facilities.

Could do with having a little more space between pitches.

Lovely secluded site on river Bank but not too remote to access Lakes and coast. Nice pub next door. Friendly manager on site. Lovely walks by river and stroll to cafe. Peaceful and picturesque. Not too regimented and nice informal feel to the site but clean and tidy.

Dog owners who can't control their dogs. Also no dog free space in pub....so we didn't eat there. A few pitches looked a bit sloping. Ask for one next to river. No TV reception found while we were on site.
