Fresh water taps and electricity on every pitch, clean toilets showers and utility area, beautiful views, friendly and helpful owners. We were a large group of 8 families and had our little social area and late evening fire down the end of the camp so as not to disturb others. Alton towers up the road, uttoxeter horse racing too and other more rural attractions.

Stumbles across this site and was blown away! Two days I spent here with a 3,8 and 12 year old and it was a breath of fresh air! The facilities where lovely and clean, the grounds where amazing it wasn’t over crowded and you could see the whole site from our tent which was right infront of the park and allowed me to actually sit and relax, the hosts where so nice and helpful. We stayed in a pre made tent and that was great no fuss and able to enjoy our stay from the moment we parked up inside was immaculate and cosy!
I could go on and on but all in all it’s a beautiful little site and ideal if camping with children they are begging to go back already and I really couldn’t recommend enough!
Scored low on the wifi because I’m not actually sure if there is wifi on the sit but who really needs it when camping anyway being present in the outdoors is all you need. X

Nothing to dislike it’s a stunning family friendly site.

We enjoyed or weekend stay at Springfields countryside caravan and camping site. The layout of the site is great the on site facilities are well placed and nice and clean. Water and power points are conveniently located. The site is easy to find with some wonderful views over the valley. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay so much we have booked another week long stay in August.

There is only one thing that I was put out by was a few noisy children but that wasn't a problem as if we wanted a site with no children we could have found a site that didn't allow families with young children, so I don't think can't hold the site responsible for that.

*Loved* the bathroom facilities. The Grove gave me Alice in wonderland vibes and I can't even tell you how amazing it was to shower in a room with room and places to hang your clothes that stay dry. Not many places I've camped at have that!
Brilliantly maintained, I loved the separation between pitches and how everything was kept grown out to help the wildlife but also really neat and beautifully sized pitch spaces with your own water and electric
We stayed from a Friday and got to participate in pizza night! It genuinely might have been the best garlic bread I've ever eaten!
Really liked all the little bird feeders which brought the birds to the campsite. Beautiful addition
All in all a fantastic stay and will stay again soon

Stayed here for 3 nights whilst visiting Alton Towers.The pitches were really big,our tent is approx 6x7 and we had plenty of room. Lovely hosts, small and quiet site.There is everything you need.Basic and clean. Perfect base!

A peaceful site with good clean facilities with large caravan pitches
We used this site on our first stop to Fort William and returned here on our last stop before going home to Portsmouth.
Paul and his staff were very friendly and worked tirelessly to maintain the high standard they offer.
A real gem of a site. Highly recommend. Well worth the money.
