Very friendly and welcoming family that run the campsite. Facilities were all decent and clean. Excellent location for walking in the Brecon Beacons.

Lots of space, babbling brook with spots for a quick cold swim! Fridge, freezer, good showers and nothing beats waking up and going to see some farm animals ❤️ free firepits too! Also easy walk into Brecon town and up some close by peaks

Loved it!! The setting was beautiful, a working farm surrounded by the Welsh countryside with a river running by. The owners were lovely and there if we needed anything, like firewood because a campfire is a ‘must do’ when you’re sitting off having a sip of rum looking at the Milky Way. Only a few minutes drive from Brecon where you really should pay a visit to St Mary’s bakery

Really lovely little campsite situated on a farm so you could see and stroke all the animals which my boy absolutely loved.
It's next to lake which was so nice to hear the running water as you slept.
Paula the host was just lovely, came to check on all the guest to make sure they had everything they needed.
The facilities were clean with a fridge, freezer and microwave which was a pleasant suprise. They also gave you the password for WiFi which I thought was fantastic.
Will definately return and would highly recommend.

Fantastic location next to a river that soothes you whilst you sleep, brilliant amenities on site too with enough to feel like a proper campsite but also like you’re off grid.

Beautiful location with lovely walks and a stunning river you can even take a dip in!

Showers were clean considering obviously muddy boots go through there! Same with the toilets, all facilities very clean really with the exception of muddy boots but really you expect muddy footprints considering the beautiful surroundings!

The owners are absolutely lovely, friendly and so accommodating, and there’s even bespoke homemade mugs, pens etc for sale in the little shop/beauty parlour area! As well as fresh eggs for sale too

Honestly an amazing stay with my two small children aged 3&1 and my partner, we will definitely be going again!

To note there’s a lovely farm shop around 20 mins down the road and disposable BBQ’s are allowed on the site (just ask for a floor pan so as not to burn the grass) and we had some lovely fresh venison on the disposable BBQ for our second night!

My son fell in love with the animals and was thrilled to able to feed the animals with the the owners.

The hosts are really lovely and took the time to have a friendly chat if you wanted. I loved this site, very laid back, but the hosts also quickly made sure that things were restored to working order when bulbs went out or something briefly stopped working. They’ve got a good washing area with a fridge, freezer and microwave! I tried not to use the microwave as it didn’t want to ‘cheat’ my camping experience but after a busy day on Pen-Y-Fan it was very nice to be able to microwave my rice to compliment my cooking my main course on the stove :) + less washing up! There’s a stream that kids (and adults!) can amble in. There’s also farm animals that kids can go and see. There was a new born donkey whilst we were there which was a new experience! Thank you for a great stay.
