Great place to stop. Great pub lovely owners and locals.
They do a fantastic Sunday lunch.
This was our second visit , we will definitely be back again.

Friendly staff and atmosphere, large pitch. Ease of access to site snd the fact it was well organised with little fuss. Proximity to the pub which was ideal for an impromptu overnight stay with our dog as we were all made very welcome in the Red Lion.
Last but not least the food was excellent!! We will definitely be back ❤️

Nothing it was perfect

No nonsense arrival instructions and self service pitching. Warm welcome at the pub. All facilities fit for purpose. Proximity to the Aviation Museum is a plus and the museum caters for enthusiasts and all.

Nothing to dislike. The toilets are about to be refurbished but even in their present state they are clean and warm.

No paved path to waste disposal. Waste disposal flushing pipe not well designed.

Stayed for three nights enjoyed it all. The food in the pub was good home cooked food which is lacking in some pubs were it is all bought in gear. The beer is good from the local brewery & the locals in the pub are very welcoming & had good banter with them. They are improving the site which you can tell when you look which is all good. The Aviation Museum is a 10 minute walk across the field well worth going to we spent a good 4 hours there could have spent more there. The facilities are good toilets, shower, & outside washing facilities.

Not a dislike but would be nice for the toilets to be checked over even though is getting out of season with it been wet & muddy. Perfect

Spacious, clean, well organized site with a friendly pub that serves great food. The WW2 air museum is close by and is well worth a visit.

Every thing about this site is marvellous shower block/pitches and of course the pub on site great food and beer and fantastic staff really made our stay memorable
