The communication via email was exceptional , friendly and very informative, all the necessary information needed for your stay was conveyed for example your plot number, code for the entrance barrier, the code for the toilet block. The campsite well set out finding your plot was easy. I really liked the fact that there was a pub there where you could have a drink and they served hot food. The food was good and I was very happy with my stay there the staff where very friendly.

There was nothing too dislike.

Everything! The size of the tent pitches were very generous. The toilets and shower block facilities were cleaned regularly. Great location for walking and visiting local museums. The pub served excellent food, with a number of real ales on tap. Very happy and helpful staff in the pub.

It is not a dislike for me, however, I would imagine if people are looking for a very quiet stay, the sounds of the nearby fighter jets taking off may present an issue. For me, this was just another highlight.

Big H/S pitches, 16amp electric, very quiet when we stayed. friendly and informative staff in the pub, Food was lovely, Dogs allowed in the pub and in 1 part of the restaurant.(we didn't take ours in,I prefer to eat without the dogs at my feet.)

I did not use facilities as we have a big MH, so I cannot comment on them.
Extended our stay to 3 nights,
We will definately be back.

Brilliant site, clean facilities, WiFi worked in the non electric field. Didn’t go in the pub but we will be back!

Nothing to dislike… even the pavement pizza left outside the toilet block by the group of young lads that stayed Friday night didn’t put us off

small site, quiet, good shower block. Staff were friendly and helpful. Had a meal at the pub attached to the site. Good quality food nicely cooked and presented. All necessary information and codes provided in plenty of time before my trip.

Getting out through the barrier. For what ever reason I couldn't trigger the pressure plate with my motorbike to open the automatic barrier. I was lucky that other campers punched the code in on the entry side so I could get out. Would have been a bit of a struggle getting of the bike with all my camping gear, putting the code in, then coming to push my bike through before the barrier dropped. Wouldn't stop me staying again.
