The site also has glamping cabins and a shepherds hut as well as holiday cottages. There is no play area for kids so not ideal if you have children. The toilets/showers are always immaculate though in peak season could be busy. Not the largest pitches but never had a problem. Masham is a 20 minute walk away with good pubs and 2 breweries, a small variety of other shops and a COOP. I have been twice this year and for about the last eight years. Staff are friendly and there is a good cafe on site.
