We believe that a campsite should be a place where families can relax and enjoy themselves while adhering to reasonable rules and regulations. Unfortunately, the lack of professionalism and courtesy shown by the campsite supervisor greatly detracted from our experience. We hope that the management addresses these issues to ensure a more pleasant and safe environment for future visitors.

The actual site is lovely, there's woods and lakes to explore and plenty of space to park your car. The area is stunning and you're well placed to explore Carding Mill Valley and Attingham Park National Trust house which is 30 minutes away. I also thought the option to buy a box of prepared wood and there being fire pits available was also a nice touch.
N'a pas aimé : I'd like to reiterate that I had no problem with this, but some guests not used to basic amenities might find the bathroom 'rustic' (it's a wooden shed)! I actually didn't mind this and ultimately found the facilities clean and the shower good. We had people next to us who were playing their music loudly, again not a fault of the campsite, and it must have been switched off at some point because we managed to sleep eventually!

At 23:00 (so already 3 hours after checkin time and 1 hour after noise curfew is enforced) 2 cars arrived and proceeded to start setting up their tent. Children within your party were screaming, i came over and explained “i know part of your party has just arrived and everyone is excited but it’s 23:00, it’s time to start using nighttime voices please”.
00:15, i came over and once again asked you to use your night time voices. I was met with hostility and compelling arguments of “it’s friday night mate, you have to understand people want to have some fun”. I tried to explain that we don’t demand total silence, but some effort must be made to lower the volume of your voices.
(At this point i would like to make clear you were never asked to extinguish your fire and go to bed. This is 100% a complete lie)
Fast forward to 01:30, i come over again, asking you to please lower the volume of your voices, once again, i am met with hostility.
3:30. Now i’m not happy, i should have been asleep along time ago, i can still hear your voices from approximately 300m away in my dwelling. I came down and spoke to you, and admittedly,i may possibly have been sligthly unprofessional as i had had enough, i asked you to be quiet in more stern language and was once again met with more hostility etc etc i retired to bed, tired, angry and frustrated.
Day 2.
Well i didn’t wake up till quite late due to the fact i was up till 4am asking campers (you) to please just be quiet.
20:00 - 00:30 - your behaviour was actually acceptable (thank you). I was lulled into thinking i could have an alcoholic beverage or 2 after watching the England game. However at about 01:00 (after i’d gone to bed) you seemed to increase the volume, i had no choice but to get out of bed, pop down and whilst appreciating our interactions yesterday weren’t great, but your behaviour today was acceptable, and this was the first time i’d issued a warning today: I commend you for your behavior so far today, but asked you to use your quiet voices (explaining that i was able to hear you whilst in bed, and getting out of bed to talk to campers at 1 in the morning isn’t something i do by choice). I was immediately met with hostility. I tried to explain my position (as outlined within this reply) but i accepted you already had a dislike towards me after the previous nights interactions and weren’t willing to listen, so i walked away and retired to bed.
Day 3. Check out is 10:00 and we ask all rubbish to be put in the bins when you leave. You left at about 13:00 and left your rubbish on the field (i have the pictures to prove it) #LeaveNoTrace
To anyone reading this review, i would ask you to look at all the amazing reviews we have (both here and google), look at how so many people love the site and the owners, and question if this one bad review out of so many good is a true representation of the site. whilst we have a noise curfew to try and ensure everyone has a good experience, we are not unreasonable, we don’t demand absolute silence, we merely ask that your noise does not impact other campers on site, and we will always give several polite warnings if we believe you are being too loud, but we will not allow antisocial behaviour to go unchallenged, no matter what time of the night it is, to ensure a pleasant and safe environment for visitors.
