The grounds were extensive and that it was within walking distance of watersports centre.

Toilet block. Dirty, no locks on some doors showers dirty.
Too few toilets and showers for the great number of users.
Rules over noise and open fires ignored.
No sign of any wardens as stated on website.
Reception team unhelpful when another family group had encroached on our allocated family pitch so we were split up.

Travelled with our two children 6,1 for a family weekend. We was allocated park view, large pitches. And very Close to park. Great shop facilities and close to toilets and bathrooms. Mad our own memories and have fun. Visited the Holme Pierrepont Country Park watersports center paid £3 for two hours parking and also used the bigger and newer park here with the kids. Great wifi throughout the site which came in handy on rainy days . Icecream van was a great hit with the kids

Showers outside need a good clean. But inside we’re great they just didn’t drain well.

Great site and location, with large pitches. Kids loved playing on the open fields and play park and only a short walk into the National Water Sports Centre too.

Location, accommodated request for both pitches to be next to each other. Pot washing facilities good. Kids enjoyed play park.

Some neighbours played loud music late - dispute 9.30 quiet time, old toilet block was disgusting, new one was okay.

Shop was closed during opening hours (sign said back in 15), called the number no one answered or called back - gave up.

Pitch was great, showers and toilets lovely and v easy to check in and out. V nice all round - will definitely come again.

Can only bash tent pegs into the ground about two inches before hitting solid stuff, which isn’t really enough for tents in a place that is often pretty windy.

Pitches were a good size, the site was well kept, grass cut and hardstanding level. We can’t comment on the toilets or showers as we did not use them. Site was very quiet during the week. Good access to public transport from right outside the campsite into Nottingham.

Lack of staff on site, reception/shop shut most of the time. Noise after 11pm at the weekend. Nowhere to walk/exercise dogs on site.
