I have stayed here so many times both in the pods and take my own tent. Showers are warm, shower block always clean and staff couldn't be better. Great location to access the city and right next to the water sports centre.

in the summer season it can be a bit expensive.

The understanding when unforseen circumstances we had to cancel our visit at the last minute. Didn't expect any refund but told I would receive a voucher towards a future visit. Great customer service 👍

Good location and check in is easy

Despite having the heating on from the moment we arrived at the lodge and all night we were unable to get the lodge to a bearable temperature. It was freezing cold. We had booked for 2 nights but could not stay the second night we only just made it through the first. I think they should either close for winter or provide additional heating as this is simply not habitable at this temperature due to the heating being inadequate. Additionally the heating can only be put on for 4 hours at a time. We were unable to sleep due to the cold so could monitor it and turn it back on.

I understand the odd bark, I am a dog owner myself but this was unacceptable
