The site is stunning, all you need, beautiful views, lovely walk to chocolate box village. Perfect location.

We would have liked to be informed on booking that a very large group of school children on the D of E were arriving, apparently they were a month early and over double the numbers, so having returned back to out tent we could only hear until bed time the noise of children and the clanging of their tin cans whilst washing up as we were near to toilets being ladies of a certain age. The owner was very apologetic and said he told them the week before, but it would have been if it could have been highlighted on our booking days that they were coming as we could have rescheduled as I booked only a few days before. I would go back but I would call first to make sure no large groups as it does sate it is a quite site.

Beautiful nature, well kept, friendly

Portaloo style toilet. Very clean but still. Not much shade on a hot day so bring your own. Logs to buy expensive.

You can take as much space as you need, firepits for each space, fantastic very friendly owner.

Lovely place to camp, spotless cabin toilets cleaned regularly. Friendly manager who came to make sure we were ok and offered us firewood . Have already booked another trip to go again … perfect .

The site was in a gorgeous location and the owner came each day to clean and empty the toilets. Really friendly.

As the pitches are not outlined it was a bit difficult to determine where to pitch. The road behind is quite busy/fast, but we were camped right next to it so this wouldn’t affect everyone!

Very relaxing and picturesque site at the foot of the SDW.
Lots of space between pitches and a very friendly and informative land owner that checks on everyone is happy during the day.
5 mins walk onto SDW and 10 minutes walk to a local pub..
Definitely recommend if you're after a peaceful retreat.

Great little pop up sight, good pitches, lots of room. lovely chalk stream to paddle in, very relaxing weekend and well run.
