The location is beautiful, peaceful and very well kept, with plenty of space to walk and explore. Facilities were always clean and tidy, which made the stay really comfortable.
We caught the park & ride into Chester for a day out, and there were local shops nearby for topping up on snacks and essentials. We cheekily asked for a slightly later check-out on the Sunday and it was no bother at all — the friendly, relaxed approach made us feel really welcome. Overall, a lovely campsite that we’d happily recommend for a relaxing family break.
