The site is very dog friendly, which was a big plus for us. We stayed in a tent pitch that had access to electric hook up, and it was really convenient having a water tap right next to every pitch.
Facilities were basic but clean and perfectly adequate showers were decent and toilets well maintained.
Location wise, it was ideal. It felt nice and tucked away, yet we were no more than a 15 minute drive from great places like Buxton, Bakewell, and the Monsal Trail.
Would definitely recommend if you’re after a quiet countryside break with easy access to explore the Peak District!

My partner ended up staying an extra few days after I had to leave and the site owner was very accommodating of this as they had space. Also has good phone signal (EE) which is not necessary but is nice for a couple of days stay if you want to watch something after the sun has gone down.
