There are new toile facilities since our last stay and there is only two toilets and one shower for fourteen pitches. In the busier months I’m not sure this would be enough

Ramp and steps to the toilets is sheet ice in the evening so be very very careful!

We travelled in late October and the colours of autumn were spectacular. When we arrived I left my wife and out resuce pooch in our camper while I checked in, the welcome I received was fantastic. It was like talking and meeting old friends, I was made to feel really welcome despite it being a holiday park. When I booked the site I didn't realise it was a holiday park and was a little apprehensive but I must admit that I can understand the attraction of a site like this. The motorhome/camper pitches are near the entrance to the site away from their main pitches but I was surprised at how quiet it was in the evening, the pitches are seperated by small hedges which I thought was a great idea. The location is second to none, even though it was late October I took our rescue pooch for a walk along the shore of the lock and even paddled in it myself, the location is stunning, the welcome amazing and the fascialites are just what you need. We are planning a tour next year and will be stopping here again.
