The site was easy to locate, the staff at reception were friendly and welcoming, and the selection of goods on offer at the site shop were fantastic (everything from a blow up air bed, to torches, to tea bags, to kids games). The site doesn't have the biggest area for tents and campers, but we had more than enough space in the corner we found, and were able to enjoy a fire pit in the evening without disturbing anyone. There are lots of great walks from the site, and we enjoyed covering over 6 miles on our first evening. Toilet and shower facilities on site are well maintained and nice and modern. A lovely place to stay overall, and somewhere we would be happy to come back to. Lee

There was plenty of space left to pitch tents - we purposely selected one of the quieter weekends of the year and the event took up 5% of the sites area. There was no loud music or excessive noise. If there were any issues, you could have gone on another part of the site. In fact you were originally 150 metres from the event in a nice corner and then asked to be moved closer to the part of the site hosting the event. This was a bit of a strange decision to make.

Site included laundry room and the family bathroom had a full size bath too.
