We came back, we stayed for 2 nights on our way to see family and booked another 2 nights on the way because we found the site quite peaceful and relaxed.

We had to book a grass pitch this time because the gravel pitches were all booked, obviously with the weather recently it does make things a bit messier.

Good size gravel and grass pitch, it was quite peaceful while we were there, facilities were good and clean enough and nice and warm. There's a really good shop on site with lots of nice things to buy. Everyone was nice and friendly.

Nothing to dislike really.

Lovely, friendly people who make you feel so welcome. Nothing was too much bother and enjoyed my stay. It was a shame to leave and head home. This site will get used my me in future visits. The shower block was warm and very clean.

Spacious gravel pitch, peaceful in the evenings, lovely reception and shop, well stocked with local produce and essentials. Easy to use and access motorhome service point and elsan points

Some parts of the site, including the shower block, are a bit tired but all perfectly functional and clean. There did seem to be a lot of vans that have been there for a long time

Showers and toilets clean, pitches were a good size, good dog walking facilities, the site is central to all attractions, this is our second visit and had a chillaxing time…

Very disappointed...we stayed on the site years ago when we had a tent we enjoyed it....this time was our first time back but with our tourer...even for the time of year we were put on the field.but also informed they didnt want me driving on the grass.there were empty hard/gravel pitches..as per alot of sites these days theres too much emphasis on permanent pitches..vehicles being started and left ticking over at 4 or 5am..doors slamming at silly hours.

The site was very quiet and great to switch off from everyday life.
The staff were very friendly and helpful.
The shop was very well equipped with items.
The main shower, toilet and laundry block was clean (only used it for the toilet).
Only a 5 minute drive to a full range of stores, restaurants and fuel.

The pitches are ment to be the same size but the gravel areas are not, we booked a hard standing with awning, but there wasn’t any room for the awning and the car.
The road/pathways had potholes and due to the weather of this time of year, they were covered with puddles and mud. This was due to the amount of rain and having cars parked on the grass on the smaller gravel areas.
Not my kind of place for the winter and wet months, but it was February.

Everything! Friendly staff, well stocked shop, great facilities with clean toilets, showers and laundry room. Nice and peaceful. Thank you.
