Great location, view are amazing. Sam was friendly and happy to show us around. If you want to camp and explore the area would recommend this place.

Nothing to dislike

Very nice campsite, well maintained with helpful and friendly hosts :) really gives the wild camping vibe with a great range of pitches to choose from. Was a bit wet and rainy in the day but had some clear patches at night providing phenomenal views of the stars above.

Lovely camping spot to feel like you’re wild camping. This rural camp site has gorgeous views.

The light in the shower wasn’t working, and there was no toilet roll. But very fixable problems :)

Perfect place for a wild camp type experience in a beautiful setting and very helpful site manger.
The firepit was really appreciated with logs provided (extra) meant the area stays pristine and safe for all.

Everything about this site is perfect; the staff, facilities and the spacious land they offer. Stunning walks around the area. The wood burns perfect and is worth every penny.i would defiantly recommend this site to anyone who loves wild camping. Sam always went out his way to make sure we had a Eveything we needed. I’ll be defiantly coming here frequently.

Nothing it was perfect.

This is a fabulous semi-wild camping site! We don't travel light but there was a lovely mix of different sized pitches, terrains and views to choose from. We choose a view of the sheep fields and hills. There was enough space between pitches (much more than a traditional campsite) so you never felt too overlooked and had a good level of privacy. The views were wonderful, we stayed on-site the entire time rather than venture out but I'm also aware there are some lovely local walks if you feel like venturing out.
The car park is a short walk away from the main camping area site, however the site owners were fine with parking on their main reception car park to unload/pack-up the car, which was very much appreciated.

Bugs! This was unavoidable given we were out in nature and not far from sheep fields, however the flying ants were a particularly annoying on one of the days. I'd definitely invest in a good bug spray/deterrent.
The walk to and from the camp to unload/pack the car, although relatively short, is quite uphill in a couple of places which means carrying your stuff from the car took some effort, but it is definitely worth it.
