Hidden gem of a site, great for those with a dog - lovely walk on site and enclosed run area . Great access to the river for canoeing or paddle boarding. Close to local shop. Bumped into a couple of wild dear when walking the dogs. Good site for an overnight stop when travelling long distance.

Nice area. They showed us where our pitch was. The playground was good and the showers decent.

There was no soap in the men's restroom except for one day of a 7 day stay. The restaurant on site was rude every time we went in and charged a lot for instant coffee. Also, though wifi was advertised, it didn't work.

We had a lovely stay at Greenhills. It is a beautiful site with flat pitches that are well spaced and surrounded by plenty of space for the children (and adults) to play quick cricket and badminton without encroaching on anyone else. The loos and showers are spacious and clean. The EHU was stable, even when running a few appliances at once.
We had a couple of problems in erecting our tent on arrival (we’d somehow lost the correct valve) and then having a flat battery on the car when we were departing. The site staff couldn’t have done more to help and we were very grateful to them.
All in all, a brilliant site which is very well placed for exploring the surrounding attractions.

Not really a dislike, but if I could have changed one thing it would have been to have hotter water available for showering and washing up.

Great office/shop. Really friendly staff with an on-site place to eat and get a drink.

Three good fishing lakes plus a fast water river.

Everything!!!! It’s a fantastic place with nice staff, plenty of space, great pitches and food . Didn’t use the mini market but it looked good.

More access to the river would be good.

Sadly the Wi-Fi was not working at the time we visited.
We seemed to have a lot of wasps by our pitch, but that’s nature.

Great site, friendly, fun welcome and clear facilities.

Big pitches, well maintained. Breakfast at the on site cafe was very good and great value for money.

Only thing I would say I disliked as the breeze block around the taps! Maybe paint them green? 😁 (very minor quibble though)

Nice layout, plenty of room on the pitches. Nicely kept grass. Friendly, helpful staff. Brilliant showers and loos, good sized too.

All the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The showers toilets and washing up areas have plenty of hot water and are kept in good clean order. The bar/burgers little restaurant is fantastic and burgers delicious.
The surrounding areas well maintained great play park and dog walking area.
Would highly recommend this campsite.
