Great site with good facilities. There's an on-site bar, cafe and shop. There's a kind of natural play area for the kids with rope swings, etc built amongst the trees.

The location was great - this is a fantastic part of the UK. Such beautiful scenery.

The pitch was level for us. Our friends needed to use levellers on one side, which was no problem. Bring a longer electrical hook, just in case.

I don't think there was WiFi but the phone signal was great.

Where we were sited was a little bit smelly for some reason. It smelt like there may have been a septic tank overflowing and you could hear the occasionally bubbling sound.

It wasn't ideal, but other than that, no dislikes.

Quiet after curfew, nice flat pitches. Nice to have a bar and cafe on site. Some nice touches with washing machines, tumble dryer etc.

We were at end of season and it seemed poorly staffed. As a result:
Toilets - they were few (one block closed whilst we were there for 4 days). Another block closed for cleaning and then left closed - all of them - until we asked for use of a loo, and one was begrudgingly opened. Other campsites tell you cleaning times and so you can plan around these - with at least one toilet or keys available.

We asked if we could move our pitch to near our friends, and were told that was not possible, and then the next-door pitch remained empty all the time we were there. Another query to the manager similarly elicited a stressed / grumpy response.

Need mirrors over or near sinks. The only mirror over a sink is in a smaller toilet and you are jostling with toilet users who want to wash hands. No mirrors mean it's tricky to effectively use hair dryers, or take in / take out hair dryers.

This is a lovely, small and quiet site that's well set out with level pitches. There are lots of very thoughtful touches - a kitchen where you wash up also contains a microwave, kettle and toaster and several fridges; there are fire pits and you can buy firewood from the camp. There's a cafe and bar on site, and there was live music (a guitarist-singer) on the Saturday. There's also a fish and chip van that visits. The toilets and showers were good, and kept clean. It's an easy mile walk into the town and the restaurants there are excellent....there's also a good sized Coop.

The check in is via phone when you are told your pitch number and then you are left to find it yourself. The pitches are very small (our neighbours tent pegs / ropes were in our pitch as they didn't have enough room to fit them in their pitch and they initially parked their car in our pitch too!). On the Sunday night most of the toilets were closed for 12 hours leaving the ladies with just two toilet cubicles and one shower...thankfully they were re-opened in the morning.

Good site nice wooded play area with rope swing a few toys . Quite surrounded by fields a little cafe a bar a snacks some nights live music . Staff helpful .

Lovely site, great idea with the fish shop and music on a sat night.

As it’s the end of the summer, it was very busy and pitches are quite close to each other but not a problem.

Lovely location and had very beautiful trees as surroundings

Toilets were in very short supply, a lot of people camping so had to queue for them. The shower was cold no hot water. And the pitches could be better placed for motor homes and caravans tight squeeze

We stayed as a group of 4 over the August Bank Holiday. Overall a really good site-

-Large tent pitch with good ground

-Clean facilities

-laundry

-kitchen and sink area to use

-The cute cafe/shop and
entertainment building tent - We did not know this was here which was a great surprise. Food and drink available- mini bar- live music in the evenings. Lovely little shop with locally made soaps, skin care items and then next door had jewellery and Crystal's loved it.

- The electric car charging on site was another little bonus we did not know about.

- We only saw two staff members and they really were working their socks off to make sure everyone enjoyed their holiday !

-The EHU was deep in a hedge and quite far away from out pitch really.

- The electric kept tripping out

- The site could maybe do with a few more staff members. When we tried to contact someone in regards to our electric there was no one in the reception, no one answering the phones. But once we did get hold of someone it was quickly resolved. But unfortunately kept tripping

-No dog field or padock or anywhere for them to run around off lead

Great amenities - kitchen area with fridge, freezer, kettle, toaster, washing up - kids loved the park

The back of the play park isn’t secured so children can wander into the woods - at the back of the park there was lots of rubbish and broken things dumped which could be dangerous for the kids.

Different fields / areas separating different camping areas. Flat and well mowed grass. Cafe / bar on site. Clean toilets and showers.
