lovely staff ,beautiful site ,lovely play area and down the road from a amazing American diner/adventure playground called billy bobs.

you can hear the motorway and trainline from your pitch .The toilets are opposite end of site to camping area so you need a camping toilet

Friendly staff and excellent washroom.The electricity payment system; I only used 30 pence worth.

Facilities were very clean and free showers a bonus.
Pitches were level,spacious and fully serviced.
Fishing pools well stocked.
Friendly and informative staff.

Lack of supervision to children fishing alone who had poor fishing skills and handling of fish.
Touring pitches (B) a long way from facilities could do with another block in bottom field.

Great site. The field where we pitched our 6man tent with EHU was full at the time and there was plenty of space between pitches. Great playground for kids. Pub on site that serves meals. River runs at the back of the site and is lovely for a little walk or to take the dog to.
Stayed here twice now and will be back again

Lots of people comment on the electricity pilons. We were pitched directly underneath and it didn’t stop us from sleeping soundly.

Everything was excellent there food in the pub was lovely the site was lovely and clean staff were lovely and helpful we will be returning

We really liked and we’re grateful that our request to be sited near the toilets/showers was granted.
We found the site very friendly and relaxing. The wardens and all the staff were friendly and helpful.
We were very happy with the pub/club house. Food was great and plenty of choices.
Our little water mad patterdale terrier, Tilly, absolutely loved the river. We loved the ready and ample supply of pebbles to throw in for her.
The whole layout of the site was surprising and lovely.
We had read the reviews about the overhead power lines, but for us and where we were sited it was not a problem.
The location near to garstang which was a real delight, even though we live relatively close, we had never visited this area previously, we loved it and will definitely be back. For us it’s a perfect weekend getaway. But I can see it being a fabulous family holiday location.
Toilet and showers were kept beautifully clean and warm.
Great little shop, ice cream available and a small selection of essential items.

The greeting on arrival was lovely and the receptionist was most helpful,
The ground worker / assistant guided us to our pitch and offered assistance.
The pitch was amazing right next to the lake, the club staff was very pleasant.
Upon leaving we realised a flat caravan tyre the office staff immediately came to our assistance and helped to get us back on the road.
We enjoyed our little duck visitors, the toilet and shower block was extremely clean.
We will definitely stay again and we highly recommend this site.
