The staff were great. Pitch was close to the shower block which was nice and clean. Well maintained site with a nice restaurant / pub overlooking the river.

Lovely site, great views. Friendly staff /owners, very helpful. We spent a weekend here with our four year old granddaughter who loved to paddle in the river and play in the park. There's a lovely pub/restaurant on site serving food all day and evening we ate here throughout our stay and food and drinks where very good and reasonable priced. We have booked to return as a couple so partner can relax to do a spot of fishing at the fishing ponds.

Another lovely stay here , everything you need is to hand and nice friendly staff , facilities were clean and tidy , pitches had plenty of room and lots of little ducklings walking around our tent .

We have just returned from a 7 night stay here in our caravan.
It is such a beautiful well maintained site.
From checking in at reception the staff were so friendly, and made my sons holiday by giving him a ride down to the pitch in a golf buggy!

The first week the site was quiet with it coming to the end of the school holidays, it was so peaceful.
We did leave a day early partially because we were ready for home, and also because it got a bit loud the last night with a lot of new arrivals. Nothing major but just the noise level of a fully booked popular site next to the playground.

The pitch was fully serviced with an ehu and water tap per pitch. Fresh drinking water was just around the corner with a chemical disposal point.
Electric is charged through a top up card, but we only spent £11 for the week. - including constant kids phone and electronics charging.

There is a beautiful river on site perfect for dog walks, paddling and picnics.

In all, we had an excellent time and would definitely return - especially for the restaurant that does takeaways!
- One small point to consider. The vegetarian options in the restaurant were really limited, in the evening a choice of chilli/curry, beyond meat burger or cheese & onion pie from what I recall.
Something like halloumi fajitas/kebabs/burgers for a bit more variety would have been perfect.

Would be even better if had toilet and showers closer to the main camping pitches.

Nice toilet's & shower's,
Peaceful site apart from the M6,
& Train's from 6am till midnight,
Overall we had a nice time & would stay again.

Electric point was a good way from the tent,
Had to move the tent closer,
Needs another electric point between 2 tent's, not 1 between 4 tents,
You can hear the M6 motorway from 6am till midnight,
Depends which way the wind is blowing,
Same with the train's,
But the train noise only lasts about 10 seconds then it's gone,
Definitely needs another shower & toilet block & bin area in the camping area,
Beware of the duck's,
My partner left the tent door open & next minute we had about 6 Duck's in our tent,
The duck's were no bother & handy if u had a few food scrap's, save's from filling the bin,
There is a pub on site but could do with a small shop or arcade in case you run out of bread or milk, + something for kid's to do.
Had to pay £20 deposit for key fob for the barrier,
But you get it back when you leave,
No biggy in fact make's you feel that little bit safer at night etc.

The site is lovely and clean and well looked after and maintained. Staff very friendly and helpful. The bar and restaurant is lovely and very good reasonable priced food. It has lovely views and outside you can walk down to a very picturesque stream were our grandchildren could play in and enjoy with new friends they met whilst there. The fishing is very good too which my eldest grandchild is getting into, he caught the biggest fish he's ever caught, so he was well chuffed too. All in all a brilliant 3 days stay so much so we're all going again in three weeks time. We are campers and the grounds, shower and toilet facilities are the best up to now we have experienced. Lovely stay well pleased with our new find.. Keep up the good work, had a brilliant time. Thank you.

Just thinking an extra shower or toilet facility nearer the campers pitches would have been nice and more convenient. Abit of a treat later on at night.

The site is absolutely immaculate, every single staff member we came across was polite, helpful and had a smile on their face. The bar and restaurant on site is lovely, reasonably priced and serves incredible food. I honestly cannot fault this site. This was our 3rd visit as it’s fairly local to us, we will be back again soon and the dream is to site our caravan there in the future.

I genuinely cannot find fault. An onsite pool would be handy, but that is by no means a ‘dislike’ about the place.
