Excellent, quiet place, adult only, handy safe route into gorge, town & shops.
Really nice new facilities.
Will stay again.

Wifi needs updating, very poor at times.

We stayed for 9 nights and absolutely loved it. Superb location, 5 mins walk to Cheddar village centre including a small Tesco and medium Sainsburys, and 15 mins walk to the start of all of the Cheddar Gorge shops and attractions. The campsite itself is next to a river and a lovely church, there are views to the hills and there's a dog walking area a couple of mins outside the gate. The site is busy, but peaceful, very clean and well maintained, and the pitch gave us plenty of room for our car, caravan and awning. The toilet and shower block is superb, the best we've seen, absolutely spotless and well designed and laid out for privacy and dignity! The wider area is lovely, rural, but an easy drive to Wells, Glastonbury, Bristol, Brean etc.

Peaceful and well thought out camp site with great dog walk just a few yards away but off site. Location fantastic and right next to a beautiful stream. Staff super friendly and helpful, even though it was just a one night stay. Lovely hard standing pitch next to grass area, just perfect! Great amenities on site, although the number of shower units was a bit limited but did not mind waiting. Had a lovely walk through Cheddar and up to Cheddar Gorge - did not realise the site was so close to so many attractions!

Beautiful site by the river, absolutely spotless shower and toilets. Very friendly staff, very helpful. Would definitely stay there again. 5 minute walk into Cheddar for local shops and pub

Loved the laid back, relaxed atmosphere of this site. Clean and well cared for, great facilities to.
Nice walk into cheddar and the gorge. Dogs are welcome ours enjoyed her swims in the river to cool down, on the lovely walk from the gate. Fab, will return, had a great time
