Very good facilities and site. Fantastic for the local sights on the outskirts of the town.

Clean showers and loos. Fridge, microwave and freezer close to camp spot. Good location for cheddar walks.

Our spot was very close to a caravan park next door which is not adults only so we still heard noisy kids in the morning. Also there was WiFi but you had to pay extra for it?

We were warmly welcomed by the owner, who directed us to our pitch and he provided clear directions to the showers, water points, and the quickest walking route to the town and caves in Cheddar. The site is impeccably maintained. Our stay in the camping field was peaceful and serene. The site is just a 15 minute walk to the town and caves. We will definitely return for a longer visit next time!

This is a really convenient location to walk into Cheddar. Nice and flat and really well maintained. Lovely and quiet although if travelling with a group of friends, and like to sit and chat into the evening, maybe a little too quiet. We all toddled off to bed earlier than we would have normally so as not to disturb anyone.
Really hot showers and a pleasant aspect if you can get a spot Riverside.

It felt very very crowded, and almost as if we were sitting on a car park. The pitches are quite large but not spaced particularly generously and when mobile homes turn up with cars in tow, the space becomes even more crowded particularly the row closest to the reception area.
Also, the ladies shower room has absolutely nowhere, once out of the shower to hang clothing/ pop things into etc. A shelf or two and maybe a chair would have been helpful. If more than two ladies are stood at the basins with wash bags/towels/clothes you end up gripping it with your knees so you don’t have to put it on the floor.

Nice level site, plenty of room with great, very clean facilities. Close to supermarkets and short walk to the Gorge and local amenities.

Some plane noise at night.
Wifi in the area not great.

A beautifully well kept site, spotlessly clean facilities, on arrival we were greeted by very friendly staff who gave us a choice of pitch and lots of information on the local area. The Bath Arms pub is just a 5 minute walk away serving delicious meals and the Gorge itself is just 10 minutes walk. Cannot recommend this site highly enough, in fact on our return we rebooked gin for in a few weeks time.
