The whole park.
The friendliness, helpfulness tidy park, kept updated with showers and toilets, club house, the indoor swimming pool. Our daughter loved the big and little parks, (which were safe). Best camper park we have stayed on for years. Well done to the team.
The beach was excellent and safe!

We had a problem Stuart the sparky confirmed the site electrics were fine, his advice, once he checked out our whole system, was 1st class. He has our upmost respect. The whole staff were fantastic, reception, the shop, the pool, the bar staff and the staff keeping all the showers and toilets clean. Well done the whole site!

The site is in an absolutely stunning location and we loved the woodland walk, coastal path (highly recommend making the effort for this- breathtaking!) and the beach too of course.
The children loved the mad (1980s ) playground and epic climbing/swing tree
The Clubhouse/ bar was great- food served there was really good and staff were lovely.
The shop was handy but often waiting for deliveries so don't rely fully on it.
Swimming pool on site was nice but little so it was good for a one time activity.

We arrived on a Saturday and it was overwhelmingly busy and tricky to find a pitch, really noisy and quite messy with a lot of litter and the bathrooms not keeping up with demand. However, over the coming days it emptied considerably and we could appreciate the site much more.

I loved how close put tent pitch was to the park to allow the kids some freedom to play. If you stayvhere you definitely need to go to the beach, it's beautiful.

Was some large booking of people all booked together, was very loud at times, shouting and arguing. Not sure what can be done to orient such large groups booking together, must have been between 6 and 8 tents having a big party.

Not the best when im camping withbyoung children.

Pitches are a good size

The site is a bit out of the way to go and visit places. The 10mph sign is not big enough and adhered to where children are playing.

Love this place, great for the kids. Play park, right near the beach for paddle boards, swimming and crab catching. Park has a pool and club house although I love more bring back to nature and outdoors with the walks and the putting green and the driving range. Great arrangement of pitches and facilities are good and the shop reasonably priced. Near kirkcudbright too

Could do with more cleaners during the week in the summer school holidays - one cleaner can’t get round 2 blocks before the 8am morning check so sometimes out of stuff. Called it in but no one let the cleaner know so people not able to wash hands wasn’t great till 11am in the morning one day. Was just worried about germs getting spread. Shop wasn’t that greatly stocked. In my 7 night stay I never managed to get a loaf of bread - but small things in the grand scheme of things

Brilliant site for kids to play out all day and make friends and also for them to explore the beaches and woodland and to swim in the sea and the pool. Close to the amenities toilets, showers, wash block and club house which were well maintained. Near enough to Kirkcudbright for a visit, but far enough not to be a distraction. Brilliant dark skies and mostly sheltered from a stiff breeze.

There's always a few that spoil it for others, but a very few in our experience. That's no reflection on the campsite though.
