Great facilities

It had a local shop, bar and cafe. Gorgeous views and local to Cheedale, Bakewell and Monsal Trail. The site was large we went at a bank holiday and no matter how busy it got, it was still never to loud or chaotic.

It had toilet block and showers.

Women’s toilets were slightly dodgy with only one with a light that worked at night time. Entry was a bit difficult and skidded a lot in a low down car. Toilets were a far walk from the field, despite porta loo in middle.

Views were fantastic. Shop was great. Location great halfway between Buxton and Bakewell.

Facilities were below what I expected for the price. Hot water from the tap was unusable at a literal dribble at the washing up basins and insufficient basins were available for the number of people. Showers were £1 for 4 minutes which again, given the pitch price, is a shame. All the facilities were temporary-tired-looking porta cabin type buildings or portaloos.

Loved the live music they played at the weekends. The cafe/restaurant was bustling and the shop was cute.
Loved that we could hire a fire pit for the night.
And they get 5 stars from my daughter for the showers!

The ground was hard to put in pegs due to stones.

Views are amazing. Cafe & bar onsite. We were there for the barn dance & it was just so much fun. Owner is really friendly & up on the tables joining in & dancing.
Camp site is a pick your pitch. It's basic but has everything you need. Loved our stay. Would definitely return.

Nothing

Was our first time camping as a family and we really enjoyed our 2 nights. Site is clean and well kept, toilets/showers cleaned regularly. The cafe was lovely and reasonably priced and staff were all very welcoming. We would definitely stay here again and recommend to friends and family.

Not a dislike but dosent have anything for kids to do but we took football and cricket set ect and kids never complained.

Me and my partner came down to meet our friends. It was very easy to locate and to find the check in! There was plenty of space so we could pitch up near our friends which was perfect. The location was gorgeous. We had a breakfast each in the morning which was very good and we both enjoyed very much! Very good value for money. I like that you put on music and have a dance later on, this was very fun! We had two dogs with us and the walks were brilliant around the camp site. It was a very pleasant stay and really a steal at £25 for a tent each night so thank you for having us!

Toilets were clean. Views are very nice. Eggs and bacon from the farm shop were excellent.

I would think that at full capacity the site would be undeserved for facilities.

Nice location, plenty of space and great views. BBQs allowed. Nice showers and toilets.

Sanitary Bins in the toilets were over flowing when we arrived in the evening. However by the morning toilets were spotless and bins empty.
