Really friendly staff and super accommodating! Beautiful spot for a campsite with full 360 views around the area. Lots of walking routes which were absolutely breathtaking. All the facilities were kept immaculate and worked really well. The bar and cafe and shop all had great stuff to enjoy and was really handy for any extras you forgot to bring, like spare tent pegs to buy, as well as rentable fire pits! 10/10 could not have been a better experience!

Amazing place to camp. Had a shop on site, lovely people and local to some really good walking routes.

Breakfast was lovely, staff were all amazing and had essentials in the shop, I couldn’t fault this place in any way.

Showers were clean, toilets were clean, the site was beautiful and a seamless process throughout. Will be coming again for sure

The cafe breakfast was really delicious and reasonable value at £12. The toilets and showers were kept well cleaned.

It’s very expensive considering the only facility you actually get is the toilets. Everything else is paid for - you pay £1 for 4 minutes in the shower, you pay for the hire of a fire pit. So it does seem expensive for just a field and a toilet. Also the cafe/shop opening hours of 9-5 werent that convenient for us - we wake up early in a tent and we were hiking in the day so getting back for 5pm wasn’t always likely. There wasn’t really a lot of stock in the shop either. We had planned to buy some meat to cook on our camp stove but the only thing they had was bacon, so we went to one of the local pubs instead.
If it was cheaper I’d gladly recommend it, but at this price when you don’t even get a shower included, it’s not likely we’d return.

The litter all over the field. I know it’s not the campsite owners fault but you would think someone would go round picking it up to make it look more presentable. Also it says no noise after 10:30pm and there were people on the campsite being very loud until 12pm. Also people driving off the field and being loud at 6am which was very fustrating. Once again not the owners fault.

The farm was in a fantastic location and boasts beautiful views, the facilities are all you need and kept clean, the option to hire a fore pit and wood was fantastic and i definitely didnt regret it a 4:30am when i woke up and coupdnt get warm 🤣 the cafe was great value for money and we enjoyed a breakfast there with absolutely no complications and complaints. There were two feild choices, one higher and one lower, the higher one with better views but more uneven ground and further from facilities but we didnt have any problems with this.

Nothing that I disliked

The view

The loud partying, the screaming fights, the drinking and the leaking toilet.

Friday was idyllic and calm, Saturday was awful. There was lots of groups of young people drinking and blasting music all night. This then turned into an actual physical fight, people screaming and threatening to “f” people up. Awful atmosphere and my son was up half the night worried.

The toilets leaked all over the floor and by Sunday the floor was soaked. There were no lights Friday night and the shower didn’t work. Just took the money.

Really friendly staff, location was great. Having the farm shop, cafe and bar on site is great. No live music when I was there but they had some the week after which I was sad to miss. Another thing to note was that they only served food until 5 so if you want an evening meal you might have to go to the local pub, The Anglers, where the food is basic bit the portions are large. I also had to hunt about a bit for some fresh water. There is none at the pot wash, it's just dotted about the site and the one near me was out of order.

Shower costs £1 for 4 minutes and was clean, warm and powerful. Toilets were clean and stocked

The ground is a bit uneven but it's manageable. Might get a bit tricky to find a level spot in busier periods. WiFi didn't work while I was there but I wasn't too bothered
