the staff were very friendly we arrived just after lunch and was told where to park up, apart from the pitches being quiet a bit uneven we loved it there, small lake where you can swim for a small charge and at certain times you can use a paddle board on it as well showers were ok, nice quite site with a pub 5 minutes away which does really good food, there was no pressure in leaving we were told go when your ready, we left about 1pm, we will definitely be going back there

We go no electricity on our trips so no phones or laptops makes it hard to book online

Great spot,beautiful small lake,woods to walk in, places close by. Clean bathrooms/showers/changing rooms. Not too big and great space between plots

As we where on the Field side and had bad weather, paths up hill to our plots far too muddy and very slippery. Needs gravel all the way, like lower level for the electric plots. That really needs to looked at

Clean facilities, access to the lake for swimming, helpful staff although not needed much as everything clearly communicated and in it’s place, access to public transport and several good places to eat

Lovely stay at Andark Campsite. Good pitch (no.1) for easy access to lake & changing rooms/loos. Super swims in lake during stay, staff friendly & helpful, plus fab coffee in little on site cafe!

Changing rooms clean & practical, open 24 hrly. Bridleway parallel with site, for a little walk with my dog. Equally found a lovely walk at Holly Hill Woodland just over a mile away, loads of parking & walk through wooded area, well maintained paths & gardens. Direct access onto Hamble River path for a loop walk, brilliant & safe with my dog & off lead. Will definitely book again for a mini trip away.

Could hear some traffic noice from A27, but equally just the birds on lake chirping, not a problem. Otherwise very peaceful.

The location was good with the nearby pub and river hamble. The toilets and showers were clean, looked new and were in good working order.
There is a good choice of footpaths from the site with pleasant scenery.

The long grass... essentially the filed was a meadow. There was a slope on the pitch which could not be avoided where ever you placed the tent. There was some background road noise from the M27, which being a motrway kept going through the night.

Site was a good size.
The lake was well looked after and facilities were well maintained

Beautiful small site with gorgeous lake to swim in , which we did have a dip in.

Clean and modern facilities to use , very friendly staff . Loved watching the sunset set through the trees on the lake deckchairs.

Tried the onsite cafe for breakfast. It was excellent and the view around the lake .lovely way to start the day.

We walked from site down to the marina and enjoyed a long walk enjoying the countryside and admiring the boats.
