Spacious pitch and really quiet site. Lovely clean and warm amenity block.

Lovely Pitches very well laid out. No serviced ones but water readily available near to most of them. Facilities very clean and warm. The site seems to be able to accept all manner and sizes of Caravans, Motorhomes (even American Fifth Wheelers) Tent fields etc. Easy access to Hornsea on foot without walking on the road, especially if you have small children and/or dogs.

Unfortunately not everything was as expected. This was our first visit and we found that the site is not very secure the entrance is open to all with no barrier whatsoever. There is a gate but this was never closed. During our stay we noticed a Black Van driving around the site very slowly looking into some of the Caravans and Motorhomes. We and another guest did report this to the staff. Also the Pennine Walking/Cycling Trail is accessable from the site but again there is no gate or barrier, it's completely open, so anyone can gain access to the site whether they're staying on the site or not.

What’s not to like ! Super site loads of room , it was reasonably quiet .
The washing up facilities are pretty good and the toilets/ showers are spotless
The site is well lit up as it was still dark nights .relatively new to caravaning so was a nice flat site with everything signposted.
Close to Hornsea walked in 25 mins to the centre and taxi back £6.50 !

Nothing to dislike

Excellent site, our pitch was large and really flat.
Plenty of room between other pitches , so nice and peaceful.
Ideally located near to Hornsea and the trans pennine route was such a bonus.
Toilet and shower block was in top condition too.
Thanks for the effort you guys obviously put in , will be coming again soon

Having to leave

Great location next to the Trans Pennine path and also close to supermarkets etc in Hornsea. Campsite was well setup with super showers and toilet facilities. All in all a perfectly run and maintained site.

We like that the site is clean and plenty of space

The cake hut was closed again.

On arrival we were told to ring a mobile located at the site entrance but nobody answered the phone, we knew where to park but why have this instruction if nobody is going to react.

The showers were clean but not enough off floor area to put clothes to stop them getting wet, only 2 showers working out of the 3.

Not enough refuse bins and the ones they have are by the entrance.

Dish wash area was dirty I had to clean my area before I could use the sink.

White cottage camp site. Showers and toilet facilities very clean and checked throughout the day lovely relaxing, peaceful and well maintained camp site plenty of walks close by enjoyed every minute.

Nice and clean

No dog poo bins only main bins at entrance hard standing ground for caravan is ok but does not hold pegs in the ground very well so be aware when it's very windy also only one peg to hang cloths in shower cubicle and no ware to put your toiletries for a shower.
