The pitch was large and flat, the takeaway food was excellent, the shop well stocked, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Not having to book the swimming pool was great. Lots of lovely families with polite, kind children. Would absolutely go back. Clean and tidy everywhere.

Clean toilets and shower blocks with radio and heating, feels safe at night to use for a female alone

There is a park and outdoor pool, a games area with pool table/air hockey would be great too

Disliked the walk to the toilets

Lovely campsite. We stayed in Terrace Close, nice large electrical hook up pitch. Nice and quiet compared to other parts of the site. The kids loved the outdoor pool, which was heated to 29⁰ while we were there, its was small but not overcrowded. They also loved the chickens and the sheep.
The site is looked after, clean and welcoming. The toilets and shower blocks are great, loved the music 🎶 We asked for the music to be turned up in the disabled shower room as my son was enjoying listening to it but it was a lot quieter than the main blocks. The little shop is great, fresh baguettes available to order and lovely local meats. The field kitchen was a lovely addition, handy for dinner on arrival after setting up and breakfast after breaking camp 🏕 very reasonable prices and lovely food. Dog walk area is a great facility, would be nice if owners cleaned up after their dogs but I guess you will always have some that won't. Looking forward to visiting again soon.
