Beau site, accueil sympathique, sanitaires propres, je recommande !

The site is very well located: it took us 30 minutes to reach Old Harry's Rocks/Swanage, 30 minutes to reach Durdle Door/Lulworth Cove and 45 minutes to get to Weymouth.

You need to drive over a mile down a dirt road to reach the tent site but there are clear signs along the way so you won't get lost.

The facilities blend in well with the surroundings. There are four individual toilet cubicles, four individual shower cubicles with space for getting undressed/dressed and urinals. There are also three sinks with mirrors for getting ready in the morning/at night; and three sinks to wash dishes. There are bins on site. The owners keep the facilities clean and check in with the campers every day.
The campsite was very quiet and peaceful. Other campers were friendly and respectful. You can set up your tent wherever you want within the limits of the field.

We would like to give a special thank you to the owner Jayne who let us borrow poles for our tent as we'd forgotten to bring ours (I know, silly mistake).

There is nowhere to charge electronic devices but I guess nowadays one can purchase solar power banks or else ahead of going camping.

There is no playground area for children so some young people would sometimes play football in the middle of the field, almost hitting campers sat down eating and making it a bit stressful when driving around the site.

Friendly site, great to be able to chose where you pitch. Great so kids could walk around and play with others.

Our second time back here, wouldn't change a thing. Ideal. Spacious friendly and excellent location.

Showers and toilets were clean and worked well. Not too busy, it was quiet and kid friendly. Good for monkey world and tank museum.

Due to the dry weather we couldn’t have a fire but that’s no fault of the campsite at all, totally understandable.

We’ve just got back from a wonderful stay!.. The bell tent and set up is amazing! Everything has been thought of! Even down to the tea, sugar and filter coffee with a cafetière, you literally just need to bring towels, food/cool box and everything else is sorted for you! We will definitely be back again, I’ve already recommended to friends and family too! I honestly can’t fault anything, it really makes all the differences when everything is provided for! The beds were comfy and there were extra blankets too, toilets and showers were clean and Rob was always around ensuring everyone was ok as well as checking on the facilities. Thank you Rob and Jayne for a great weekend!

This is a nice campsite set over two fields with good shower, toilet and washing-up area. The owner, Rob, is a kind and friendly chap who came around each evening to check on guests and have a chat. The campsite is in a good location near the lovely small town of Wareham, with Swanage, Isle of Purbeck and Poole all in easy reach.

Only small criticism is that it would be good to provide a fridge, or freezer for storing ice blocks.

Spacious site , toilet/shower blocks attractively set out with lights and flowers.
Amazing view of stars.

Hot water variable - making showers with children difficult.

Rob was very friendly and helpful.
Facilities were clean.
Peaceful place to stay.
