You certainly came when we had a storm. It was just a shame that your porch took a hammering, but at least your main tent survived. We were happy to contact our campers and help were needed, but it was mainly thanks to Mike and the campers on site who all rallied around to help.

Good cakes in the camp office and a nice food hut onsite in the mornings and some evenings.N'a pas aimé : There's no getting away from the A30 road noise. Despite it dropping off into the evening/night is clearly audible. Obviously there's nothing the owners can do about this but people should be aware that it wont be idyllically quiet. Best to bring ear plugs if this would affect you as there really isn't any other downside to this campsite.
Many thanks for taking the time to write such a detailed review. We are glad that you found our campsite good value and well organised. We have been bowled over this year with the amazing feedback we have received regarding our facilities, it makes all the hard work worthwhile.
Unfortunately this time of the year with the increase in tourists to our beautiful area it does emphasise the road noise, as does the wind direction. We would love to be able to move the road to reduce the noise, but are so glad that it hasn’t put you off or many others wanting to return to our site. We hope to meet you both again in the future.
