We had the most unlevel pitch we've stayed on, campervan had to be put onto the highest leveling ramp and everything in the awning kept slipping down the slope. People on the next pitch told us they had complained and been moved off it already.
Site didn't appear to be maintained with pride, litter (including socks, underwear and food waste) was left strewn around the site for days on end. Bins weren't emptied frequently leading to them overflowing. No recycling point at our nearest bins. Toilet/shower block in poor condition, never felt clean, lacked basics such as soap and covered in insects (above what you would normally expect). Bar closed (this was made clear in advance) and very few staff around. We had a very large ant nest on our pitch and asked if we could be moved which wasn't possible, we were assured someone would come and put powder down but we ended up doing it ourselves after a couple of days. The next pitch told us they had already reported it before we arrived.
The nearest wash station didn't have any shelter so after the first night we washed in our awning (later found another wash station on the other site of the site which we didn't use due to the distance).

We have noticed that the current pitch sizes are not ideal and will be adjusting them for next year to provide fewer pitches with more space. Our housekeeping team has been cleaning the showers and toilets multiple times a day. As reflected in many reviews, guests have found the facilities to be clean and tidy. However, we understand that a few insects may still enter during the night, as our team begins their shifts at 9:00 AM. Rest assured, all showers and toilets are thoroughly cleaned first thing in the morning, or by 11:00 AM at the latest, depending on usage and then again twice more until 5:30pm when the staff go home.
We have also applied additional ant deterrents in the top field, but I apologize if an ant nest was missed. Regarding pitch L10, which I personally visited to deliver a parcel, we are removing it from our system as we recognize that some vans may require larger wedges but we haven't had anyone come to us till the previous customer that we were able to move unfortunately when you came to us we didn't have any large pitches left that gave enough room for your awning.
Our staff are always available during working hours, and reception is open for any assistance you may need. As mentioned during your arrival, there is also an out-of-hours contact number should any issues arise.
Finally, the covered wash station is approximately 40 seconds from the camping field, and the uncovered one is about 20 seconds away.

If you Would like to come next year a lot of improvements are being made this winter as we've only owed the site for 2 1/2 years i will be able to give you a 20% discount and ill provide you with the best pitch at hand.
