As mentioned in previous responses to reviews we are developing this park a lot this winter and getting rid of a lot of pitches to give more room to customers as this year we've been fully booked.
The toilet and shower blocks are cleaned at least twice a day by are cleaning team who are in between 9:00am-5:00pm.
unfortunately this park isn't big enough to have staff on at night so we leave it up to the guests to leave the facilities as they've found them between 5:30pm-9:00am.
Our toilet and shower blocks are being upgraded this winter.

Our pitch wasn't particular clean, with cigarette ends left on it and it all just generally felt pretty grim and depressing. Because the site is 90% mobile home units, the camping pitches feel super cramped and squashed in amongst these, which also means the views are non existent from most of the site. For somewhere called 'Seaview' this was understandably disappointing. The site felt so miserable that we opted to go off site to eat our dinner instead of cooking at our pitch. The toilets weren't very clean, and the bin was overflowing even though when I turned up someone seemed to just be finishing up with a clean. I didn't have a shower but I did check the water pressure which was fairly poor. The playground was the biggest disappointment though as it was the reason I had booked because online it looked great. Sadly it was falling apart and honestly dangerous. The slide and zip line were missing, the put put green was tiny (far smaller than the photos make it look) and all of the dinosaurs were falling apart and broken. Rusty and peeling equipment too. My 5 year old can usually find something good about any play space but asked to go back to our pitch after about 5 minutes because it was 'quite rubbish mummy'. Honestly for somewhere that bills themselves as a 'holiday park' there was nothing holiday about it except its proximity to Lands End and places like Sennen Cove. It felt like nobody had given the site any love and care in years! The only saving grace is that we only stayed one night because we had extended our stay at our previous campsite....thank god!

However, we acknowledge that a few insects may enter the facilities overnight before our team begins their shifts at 9:00 AM. Please rest assured that all showers and toilets are thoroughly cleaned first thing in the morning, or by 11:00 AM at the latest, depending on usage. Additionally, they are cleaned twice more throughout the day until 5:30 PM when our staff finishes their shifts.
The play park is currently advertised as a basic facility and is scheduled for a complete renovation this winter. As mentioned upon arrival, we also have a large soft play area available daily from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM in the reception area, alongside a variety of games and a swimming pool that is open from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The play park was inspected at the beginning of the year, and any unsafe equipment was removed.
We took over the park a couple of years ago, and it remains a work in progress. Our staff is dedicated to ensuring a pleasant stay for all guests. If you had brought any concerns to our attention during your visit, we would have been more than happy to assist you. Unfortunately, we can only address issues that are reported to us.

If you arrive late and people have been in it can be quite muddy on the floor but all resources are checked and restocked multiple times a day, if you had came into reception we could have sorted someone coming down with you to fix the problems in the morning unfortunately we cannot solve these problems if people don't come into reception.
We have people checking them everyday, so do not understand how they could have been horrific.
