The bar area is nice and inviting with lovely decor. The pot washing area is good and there is a laundry room with an iron and board which is great. I like the fact you’re allowed to BBQ and bricks are provided to raise your BBQ off the floor. It’s a good location right near Sandringham which is stunning. The toilets/showers are individually enclosed rather than in a big open block which i definitely prefer! The option for a late check in up to 9pm is great also! I like the fact a bench is provided next to the pitch as many sites don’t offer this. The children’s play park is nice quality also and well used.

For me the pitches felt quite close together and not very spacious so I don’t feel I had as much privacy as I have felt on other sites. The grass by the pitches was yellow and sad looking and could do with some TLC. I think if the grass was well maintained and green it would have given a nicer feel to the site. It felt very gravel heavy. I loved that we had a a bench provided but the bench had been positioned right under a tree so we didn’t feel we could really use it as the birds kept dropping presents in our direction and the table was covered. I think it needed placing in a different position to avoid this.
The site is right next to a main road so you can hear the traffic although it wasn’t loud enough to keep me awake but it is noticeable when you’re relaxing in the evening.

Lovely campsite, friendly staff, great facilities. I came with my 2 children age 8 & 11, they both loved it too. Showers really good, loved the music addition, water pressure really good and lovely hot water.
Children’s play area a nice touch, and the bar was also a welcome addition.
Good to have a shop on site too.
Would definitely recommend this camp site.

It’s not really a dislike, but it would have been nice if the shop stayed open for a bit longer.

The showers were tempermental - the ran hot (very hot) then cold then hot again. It was difficult to get a constant temperature which was hard to manage with a baby.

The other people camping were loud at night and ignored the quiet and silent times - this was not monitored. Again, with a baby, this was not helpful when trying to get him to sleep.

It was just lovely, perfect walks which are provided on laid out on laminated sheets for you, site is lovely and clean, and when the grill house is open perfect food.

Just one moan really we were on pitch 24 but behind our pitch were people who smoked one after the other which is up to them but it kept blowing into our campervan which really wasn’t nice so maybe the site owners need to put higher fences so it could take some of the smell away but in fairness you are quite close to the ones behind when I think it should be at least 6 meters away due to fire risk! Just a thought!

Good, clean site, with decent size pitches. Some nice walks around the area and a very dog friendly site. The bar that has been added does a nice pint and show sky sports but shut at 8:30. The toilets are very clean with good hot showers.

Got eaten alive by mosquitos don't know if this is a full site thing or just us been pitched next to the trees and stream. Everything on the site shut early reception/store 4pm, bar 8:30. Quite policy low noise at 9 then silent by 10:15 so if coming as a group be mindful of

We stayed for 7 nights and it was a mixed bag, not fantastic and not poor.
We loved the view of the stars at night as the campsite was in darkness.
The toilets were clean and were more like a bathroom you get in a house rather than a campsite toilets.
The site is in a great location and there's some nice walks in the forrest to parks and beaches. Ideal for bikes.
The onsite pub is lovely, modern and does a nice pint.
The site owners were friendly
and welcoming.
We had a corner pitch which was ideal due to the wind.

The main road along past the site busy and noisy from pretty much 6am till late. This is more obvious as the site is quiet.
We got the worst insect bites we have ever gotten, so bad our friends went home early.
No playing fields onsite so no ball games or for the kids to play.
Small pitches for the modern sized
tents and cars.
No fires.
Onsite washing machine cost a small fortune and didn't clean clothes.
Cashless onsite so we had to use card when we didn't want to.
Good site for shorter stays

Great site, staff were friendly, toilet / showers were fantastic.

Note on the EV chargers:
There are 2 x 7kW available, but you need to get a charge card from the main office (open daytime), and basically you add credit to it.
You have to use the credit all in 1 go, or it sits there, and if someone else were to plug in, they would use it.

I ended up getting 2 charge cards, and adding 34kWh to each of them, that’s about 40% to 90% on my car.

The showers have a push button, and they go off anywhere between 5 seconds and 13 seconds depending on which one you get.

What a lovely camp site. Reasonable price and got everything we needed. The bar was a great addition to a few years back when we last came.
Staff were very welcoming and helpful.

All in all a more than adequate site with super friendly staff.

We put our heads together and struggled to find anything to dislike.
We struggled connecting to the wi-fi but to be fair we didn't really need it. We didn't find out why we couldn't connect but I'm certain the staff would have helped if we were desperate.
