Great site , clean great access to the beach

Lovely little no thrills campsite. The mirrored sink and toilet area was large and mostly very clean (not by the end of the day tho) The 2 x shower only rooms were small and were not particularly adequate but the 3 x shower and toilet rooms where absolutely fine. At the end of the campsite is a lovely walk down to a beach area with sand and stones, there is a small stream and great rock pooling opertunities when the tide is out. Its worth noting dogs and bbqs are allowed here and we had a lovely evening watching the sun set over our first beach BBQ. There is a castle to see and one small pub. Finally this campsite made a great base for exploring the Pembrokshire area. We would come here again.

Nothing serious. Mainly we was positioned next to the gravel road in the campsite. Even tho the site was not at all busy, we found this road was with cars driving by beyond midnight. This then kicked up quite a lot of dust. Also whilst ok for us the route to the beach is rough, down / up hill and steep (and very dark at night) Something to be aware of. You can drive there tho and there is also a car park.

Clean facilities, nice staff

We was in a Motorhome and happy with our pitch, however we was meeting family who were in a tent, their pitch had a slope to the rear and a slope to the right, they did request a change, but got refused even tho there was loads of pitches free, we got there on a Monday, for a week, on the Wednesday my family was told they had to change pitches, now they had a lot of equipment and took over 2 hours to set up in the first place, there was still loads of free pitches available, but they said they had to move, so they ended up going home 3 nights early, no refund was offered, we will not return to this site

Some pitches on quite significant slopes if camping.
Like many sites now, some people think it's fine to play music too loud. Wasn't too bad overall, have had much worse, but personally I'd prefer sites to have a zero tollarance of this, or no-music after 7pm-ish (not 11pm) when getting small kids to sleep.

Perfectly situated

If it’s busy the optional wifi doesn’t work, annoying when it’s been paid for - I suppose that’s out of the owners hands.

Everything about the site was really good. Very well kept, facilities and grounds. Very welcoming and friendly. Wife especially liked the under floor heating in the showers.

Quiet a downhill walk to beach and some rockey areas on pitches ( bent quite a few tent pegs).

The warden man was very chatty.
Toilets were always clean.
Water taps near tent.

Not been close to toilet even tho we booked 8 months in advance, was told wasn’t far to walk but was uphill and someone who struggles with chronic pain was tough, pitch was uneven (woke with a massive puddle under beds) sleeping either head down or rolling into each other,had to put things under our bed to level out. no shop or games room on site, 5 mins walk just to laundry place with one washer, and one from the 50/60s and one dryer. Steps to beach a little steep in places. Miles from closest town. Paid for premier WiFi and it didn’t work for the entire time was there. 6 showers for 60pitches

Big space, quite, close to beach

Pitches are very uneven, we had to put stuff under bed to even sleep, only a handful of the pitches are on a flat ground, 6 showers for a the whole site! Asked to be pitched near toilet block due to heath reason for me and mainly daughter (booked well in advance) and was pitched the furthest away and was told there was no where else ! Laundry room looks like it’s from the 50s and only 2 washers and 1 dryer ! No shop on site and shops miles away

Peaceful site, toilet & shower block close by. Our request of being next to our friends was accommodated, close fish & chip show or garden centre cafe nearby which was great for breakfast & tea.

No signal or wifi in the area we were pitched at but that suited us, proper off grid camping - it was great!
