The view over the pond

Poor toilets and showers. 1 shower in each of the men’s and ladies for approx 80 people. Only 1 sink and 2 toilets. It was an expensive site and you still had to pay £1 for the shower. Pub next door is awful. No info on site about local attractions. No recycling provision. Only cold water in the outdoor washing up facility. Don’t have pitch 20 wasps nest and the birds just poo everywhere!

Second time at this site, Wayne the warden was really helpful in every way amazing. Very clean and tidy as normal the pub food next door was great. And also got me back fishing after 30 years. This place is amazing we will be back in a few weeks.

Warden thought he was running a military site , expected lights out at 9.30 , no noise , no ball games were allowed on site and disgusted how he spoke and shouted at our children. definitely not a child friendly site , avoid at all costs if you have children and want to have a fun packed camping experience

Clean quiet site with good facilities and excellent wi-fi.

Everything, Wayne the warden was friendly and very helpful. Site was impeccably kept and very clean. Security was fantastic with keypad entry. Pub next door was the icing on the cake, good beer, good food and a good welcome from the locals. Showers good and clean, we will definitely be returning and vey soon !!

Site not too big. Gated entry with code to enter. Lake where kids could fish which they thoroughly enjoyed. Warden - Wayne - very helpful and great with the kids.

Lovely site, clean toilets and showers. Would have given 5 stars if the pub next door had adhered to their advertised kitchen opening times.

It was a peaceful park, the little lake gave it a tranquil feeling. Showers were not so good because there was nowhere to hang up your clothes to stop them getting wet. Warden was very friendly and helpful. It was nice having the pub next door.
