Really lovely site, intimate and quiet with really big pitches. Facilities were clean and having the little fishing lake was really nice - we didn't use it but lots of people were, particularly children and it was lovely to see all the kids helping each other out and having fun. We ate at the pub next door and the food was exceptional. Wayne, the site warden, was really friendly and helpful & gave us some good tips for walks etc. Was only 30 mins from home for us but felt like a world away. Will definitely be back :)

Small friendly site, located near a pub which was handy for a hot meal. We went to nearby Conkers which was a great day out!

Showers- payment is £1 for 5mins. There is only one shower and the payment box is next to the sink at the other end of the small block. The shower is adjacent to the door out to the site which can often be left open. Which meant staying dressed to avoid exposure to put the coin in and a quick dash to the shower to avoid losing valuable seconds.
It would have been better if the payment meter was in the shower cubicle.
Pot washing facility- didn’t have hot water and located next to toilet sluice - we boiled water and washed up at our tent instead.

Lovely quiet site with pleasant view across the small lake. Clean showers and toilets. Very accessible for visiting lots of places.

Very small children’s play area that needed updating/repairing as one of the swings broke with my grandson on it.
Showers were £1 for 5 minutes which we felt was rather steep considering the cost of the pitch fees.

Greeted on arrival by Wayne the warden very friendly. Shown to gravel pitch, good size for my peninne Pullman.
Being B/H weekend the site was full which created a nice atmosphere everybody seemed very friendly. Fishing was different in the on-site pool, stocked with small carp and goldfish.
The on-site washing facilities are small be prepared to wait. There is only one shower, take pound coins as £1 gets 5 minutes use. The pub next door via a gate is just ok, could do a lot more with campers. Staff friendly.

If I had to comment a dislike during my stay.
The owners live on site next to pitches in a static home.
There was a lot of loud shouting and arguing from parents and children that could be heard by all guests.

It’s a lovely place, children are always in view wherever they get too, it’s gated so they can’t escape they can watch the fisherman fishing, play on the park!

What a friendly and well designed caravan park, soon as we arrived we were welcomed by the Warden, who told us where to park and amenities were. Told us where local takeaway was and bar. Sadly only stayed one night would love to do more.

Really pleasant site , good sized pitches and the warden Wayne is really helpful , he clearly takes pride in his job and does his utmost to make campers happy .

Poor toilet facilities ( one toilet for men, one for ladies) not really adequate for the amount of pitches and particularly as so many were tents .
The washing up sink was cold water only and was right next to the Elsan waste !
It felt like these basic facilities had been put in as an afterthought - needs updating and a bit of investment
