Not a huge space in shower for clothes to hang

Shower block cold but I could cope with that but after stripping off I was not happy to find the showers were not working.
We had booked in for two nights but after the event we were attending in Nottingham we didn't return to the site. In morning on leaving the site there was no one in the to speak to. Disappointing stay!

Pod is absolutely very comfortable and inough room for one person.

Shower is very confusing. Try many times sweup the Sensors . didn't work.

Location, proximity of shops and restaurants in West Bridgford.
Things to do at the Country Park. Very good electric supply (15amp).

Small width of the hard standing on pitches. Single chemical disposal point. Lack of Wi-Fi.

Lovely place to stay, facilities as you expect them to do what you require staff that I spoke with very helpful

Only dislike was in the pod the sitting storage could do with the lid to be cut in half so you don’t have to move everything off to get to just one side

Great location, clean facilities and simple, clear instructions ahead of arrival (to to it being out of season and unmanned).
Considering going back in the summer.

Hard standing pitch was partially grassed which we'd prefer not to have in wet weather. Could do with more hardstanding pitches.

Self check-in was ok once we checked the email for codes, but we were surprised to be using the non permanent washrooms which were very spartan, had no seats but enough hot water for our requirements.

Showers on brief "push button" system and no seats in shower room.

The check in was easy and the information provided, including a map of the site, was useful. The reception was manned and this doubles as a shop. The staff were helpful and friendly. We ordered a takeaway (leaflet from reception) and this was delivered to the site. The site was quiet in the day and especially in the evening. It is next to the National Water Sports’ Centre so the location was great. The facilities were fine. The variety of activities available (in peak season) are great: paddle boarding, archery, sky trail etc. Lots of cafes close by too. All dog friendly too.

The tap nearest to the pitch we were given had a broken head so could not be used and the water pressure was low which meant it took longer to fill our water tank. The site is very dark at night (although they do forewarn this and advise you to bring a torch). The actual hard standing part of the pitch is quite small which meant that we parked partly on the wet/muddy grass. It was a shame that so few a water sport activities were available but this means we have a reason to come back.
