The pitch was good, grass and hardstanding, plenty of space with a tall hedge behind, the site has a mix of tents, pods, caravans and tourers and was quite busy when we were there but quite at night. The reception/shop had limited supplies random supplies. The toilets and showers were okay with several blocks around the site along with several elsan and water points.

We got an email with details of key codes for entry gate/barrier and toilet blocks along with the pitch location however after driving around the site and finding no sign of the named location we went to the reception and were advised were the pitch was, it seems that the pitch name we were given was wrong although the pitch number was correct so, we would never have found it!!

We stay here every year and on returning am always reiminded why. Facilities are clean, spacious well mantained pitches. Very family friendly and lots to keep kids entertained. Site feels safe and secure and has a very nice feel to it.

We've just arrived home after a lovely 4 night stay. The whole experience was amazing, pitch was tidy, well sized and the toilets/showers were immaculate every time. There are lots of things to do in the surrounding areas and we had lots of walks to the water park and had a great day in Nottingham. Struggling to find a fault other than I left all of our pillows at home and the youngest ones bag of clothes in his bedroom at home 🙈 but we over packed for the big one so didn't need to do a two hour drive home to get them! It was a great holiday, a memorable one and the kids made lots of friends on the site over the few days we were there. We stayed in a heat wave so weather was on our side and had some lovely nights as a family having a cheeky beer in the sun with our new neighbours and playing games of rounders with the surrounding families. We've already recommended the site to our friends and will be back next year! All major supermarkets are within a 10 mins drive (Aldi, Asda, Morrisons) so no need to pack lots of food.Thank you for a lovely week away.
