Great place to stay, clean and tidy, went with my 6 year old and my friend and her 4 year old.

Location. Newish, clean toilet / shower block although there were issues. Level grass pitches. Short walk to Trent Bridge. Bus stop nearby. No. 11 goes to city centre.

No 'in-use' indication on toilet doors. Broken / missing toilet door fittings. Poor quality shower hoses, damaged, probably due to poor installation (positioning). Shower water restricted to 5 second bursts. I understand why, but 5 seconds. Clothes hooks over the toilet.

Great set up, well laid out so children can find their way around and feel safe. Easy to find well marked electric hook up pitch. Not too far from toilet block with adequate facilities, good playarea and great being so close to the water/country park. Would definitely stay again.

We had a family in pods next to us who were loud until 11:30pm, also small areas of noise dotted around campsite after quiet time. Just a bit annoying after curfew and kept kids awake.

Showers could do with a stool to put clothes on and a mop to give a wipe would be handy

Chemical toilet point should be screened as it is in between the pods and the family having their breakfast while I emptied mine probably did not enjoy the view!

It's a kayakers fun park.

It's a country park and you expect it to be busy but it was heaving. Not enough toilets and what there were half of the toilet doors didnt lock. Lots of noise after 10oclock on site arguments and music early hours in the morning. Although there is a shop it's not got a lot in it. We were here for a week but a weekend would be enough.

The site was great! It was clean and well respected by others. We had a great time and will definitely be back!

Beautiful site, nice and flat for our trailer tent. Great location with the added bonus of the lake and activities just across the road! Our boys did the rapids in rubber rings and thoroughly enjoyed it! Toilets and showers clean and nice hot showers.

Could hear road noise which we don’t hear at home so maybe why this is the reason we heard it so clearly! The camp shop didn’t take cash as card only! This was frustrating when only took cash and had to walk all the way back to get a bank card just for milk!

Loved the site, however the tents behind us were far too noisy with loud rave music all day and in to the night plus the smell of weed was horrendous

Clean, easy to work and staff are wonderful, so helpful and polite, whole stay was a delight
